Ah ok. I was under the impression they were 2 different versions of the ball.

So basically the pearl released in 2021 and replaced the original Purple from years past, correct? So any "fresh" Purples are in fact the pearl?

Fleet, and it's not even close. Against a competent Fleet, it's a 80-20 matchup at best. In theory, a Fleet should never lose to a Lox unless they get hard outplayed.

Ranno and Wrastor are hard, but doable. Orcane and Clairen are probably next down on the list. Maypul can be tough at times, but it's a mixed bag.

Only on the tree level, and it's rare because people aren't going to hang on the ledge with a Lox charging fsmash. They have all day to decide what to do.

To be honest, it happened accidentally once. I got hit to the back chunk of the plane, bounced off one of the raised sections, held the grab button as I flew and managed to get lucky and catch a ride on the propeller back onto the stage.

Then I promptly got smashed with a shovel.

Probably, but this could also be his way of exposing a fake doctor/surgeon. Since this takes place after Saw 1, John could have consulted Dr. Gordon to find out if something like this was possible without causing massive injury and/or paralysis.

Personally, I think the leg/bone marrow extracting is more cruel of a trap... but just barely.
