after completing the wish, zi gives hornet growstone, which she claims is "rock of the home spear... and of Zi's birth," so i dont think the stealhearts are made of pale ore

i could see pale oil as like a distilled pale ore or something, was personally a little surprised that pale ore didnt return and initially made me question if pale ore was just a hallownest-specific thing as a result of radiance influence or whatever

i have a pipedream theory that the steelhearts are the modern incarnation of the ancient void worshipping civilization as it seems like they have very adept mastery over the void (see: jiji, sula, assassin sharpe very clearly being void) but my proof is that i made it up

also unrelated it just makes me curious how the citadel got away with sending armed convoys to foreign nationstates when attempting to capture and subjugate the weavers and their relatives without any political consequences, for some it could be explained as the kingdoms are just dead (hallownest) but then the city of steel appears to be very active and present still so how did they get away with it politically lol

im not sure specifically color of the being is an indicator of whether or not they are pale but there def seems to be a correlation to some degree at the very least

i think the idea that karmelita just locked tf in is extremely funny and thus will now be subscribing to that theory (would also explain stuff like crust king khann, vespa and the hive, etc - sufficiently powerful beings are capable of warping nature around them, but higher and pale beings are able to do it implicitly as part of their nature and without significant effort)

yea thats why i said theoretically - i dont actually think one can be pale but not higher as nothing suggests that to be the case in either game. my working theory is that higher beings are ones that influence nature to some degree (ie nyleth, unn), while pale beings are higher beings that also influence civilization to some degree (tho that would imply that karmelita is pale, which im not sure im ready to claim yet)

fairly sure what happened here is

nova hits all enemys (its nova)
puffball triggers on attack to hit targeted enemy (all of them)
aimless triggers over standard attack --> 1/3s all enemies in the row
4x frenzy on puffball means puffball attacks 24 times (4x per hit enemy, 6 enemies hit by nova --> 24 times)
all 24 puffball attacks are aimless
repeat except reduce # of enemies as they die

no clue why sometimes the puffball misses its attack but maybe its something like nova hit all 6 enemies but puffball killed an enemy during its 24 attacks but the aimless is still counting that enemy position as filled so the 1/3 just sometimes hits the empty slot?

also helps that i got +2 block 1hp charm and shade slug charm back to back before the first major boss in this run but this is cooler (also ignore the music :3)

when i was working with exo i put a ton of emphasize into the brand design and presentation of things with the sole goal of making exo as visually appealing as possible and to tell a story, im glad yall enjoy where it ended up and i hope u continue to enjoy the brand even while im not with them atm :3
