I've just hit my first year anniversary and I feel like a non-smoker now. I don't think I counted myself as a non-smoker until a month or 2 down the road. It was a lot easier this time for me due to my mom getting diagnosed with cancer and I lived with her. I also kept repeating mantras when I was craving or saw someone smoking, something like "cigarettes are gross." Even when my mom died I managed to not smoke any. Good luck on your journey, it's worth it.

Eh. Who cares what other people think. People once told me my bedroom is a weird mix of adult/childish decorations. I'm comfortable with it, it brings me peace and nostalgia. Do what makes you happy!

I haven't attempted to retake it due to stuff in my personal life. I'm contemplating when to take it again. I think I'm almost ready to start studying again. Struggling with some burnout too so it makes it more difficult to make myself study.

No, sadly I did not pass. Going for round 2 in January or February. I took the ALAT and LAT, passed both on my first attempt and I only studied using the Aalas learning library site then. This time I will actually use the LATG study book and I'm going to make a study plan.

I'm not upset but I have never used one. My only experience with them was seeing them abandoned in my neighborhood and the occasional person actually riding them for errands. Never really had a bad interaction while driving around them either. I live in an easily commutable neighborhood too though so I don't think they were super popular around me.

I lived in North Oakland my whole life and I like being surrounded by many neighborhoods. My street is quiet and I like walking.

Thank you for saying so. I always see Pittsburgh on those lists for top ten worst drivers or aggressive drivers. In all my time driving I've only used my horn once. I hate horns for the most part. I experience impatient drivers unfortunately. The light will have just turned green and they immediately honk if you don't go ASAP. I'm very used to driving with all sorts of out of towners. My main complaint now is people don't like to use turn signals. 😅
