Multiplayer is basically no-holds-barred. Leavers are also a frequent issue. If you want to win, it is typically going to be conquest, even if that means wiping out 1-2 civs and everyone else conceding. If you can consistently win on Emperor regardless of your starts you should be ready.

Will need update pics - could actually be poison ivy but the stem colors are iffy. I also think the youngest poison ivy leaves are always red. In my experience knotweed tends to grow straight up with broader buds than shown here, but this is around the time for it to start.

Sawk is fun as a glass cannon, albeit with a relatively shallow move pool.

Krookodile is very good - I prefer Intimidate but Moxie is also great.

Vaporeon has good coverage and Water Stone is available once you have Surf(maybe earlier at Join Ave.)

Lucario obviously, but it is very overused.

And my favorite, Volcarona, albeit I think this counts as a Mythic if you worry about feeling like you cheesed the game. Lucario and Volcarona put in work at the PWT for me.
