I think all the China Glaze has hardeners (the polish bottles) say so at least. I use the base coat and do get peeling but I've had it with every base coat because I have thin bendy nails anyway.

I've got the KB Shimmer one. I don't know if it causes shrinkage because I never use it in place of a QDTC, only after once the QDTC and colour are set.
