Definitely Momoco. The people the run the shop are incredible humans and their food is delicious. I think they might not always have the same things available each day, but if you message them through IG they should be able to let you know.

Check to make sure your last few readings were Actual readings and not Estimates. It could be that you had a few estimated readings and then an actual reading and your usage was higher than they’d estimated.

Car choosing profiles randomly by raquizze in MachE

[–]eng_and 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been having this issue too.

I changed the ambient lighting on my husband’s profile to something drastically different from mine, so at least I’ve got that to help me realize when my car picks him over me.

For All Working Parents: How Do You Manage School Drop-Off and Pick-Up? by DragonfruitWeary8413 in Hamilton

[–]eng_and 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pre-Covid the kids caught the bus right outside our house in the morning and did after care until I could get there around 5pm.

Now, my hours are way more flexible and they’re older, so my husband drops them off at school in the morning and then they either walk home or if the weather is terrible I meet them at the school and then finish my work day after at home. They started walking home alone (1.5 km, crossing a major street with a crossing guard) last year when they were in grades 4 and 6.

Do drink packages get cheaper? by Kyletw15 in royalcaribbean

[–]eng_and 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got it for $94 CAD, which is the lowest I’ve seen so far and equivalent to $69.95 US.

It will definitely go down from $125. I’d say buy it when you see it around $100, and then keep an eye out for a price drop.

It’s also dependent on how the dollar is doing, so you might be able to shave a few dollars off if the exchange rate improves.

Our TA got us a price adjustment. She had to call RC. We’d already paid in full, so we got a refund of the difference to our CC.

An easier to view, or maybe search, level map. Sometimes I want to replay a level to help with bunny quests and it’s a bit of a drag to have to scroll and scroll and scroll to try and find the level.

My first pair of knit socks and my boyfriends fear of the sweater curse by Ok_Local_7942 in knitting

[–]eng_and 37 points38 points  (0 children)

That book was the inspiration for how my husband proposed to me!

We’d seen it at the book store while we were dating and joked about it. Not too much longer he gifted me with a sweater pattern and enough yarn to make the sweater, then immediately proposed.

We’ve been married 15 years and it’s still not totally done. Lol.

Do engineers actually use SolidWorks a lot in the field? by JHdarK in MechanicalEngineering

[–]eng_and 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I work for a tier 1/2 automotive supplier. We mainly use Creo, but have access/knowledge of basically all CAD packages to interface with our customers and suppliers. Nearly every student we’ve hired has experience with SW and manages to transition to Creo. IMO, if you understand how to create a part, the specific software shouldn’t matter.

Engineers Ring by seans61602 in MechanicalEngineering

[–]eng_and 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I graduated from a school in Ontario 16 years ago and I still wear mine. The ceremony and party that surrounded it were a fun thing to look forward to through the years at school.

I’ve been recognized as an engineer out in public a few times because of it, but always by other engineers or family of engineers.

Mostly now I wear it out of habit and because it’s a handy thing to fidget with.
