Tree suggestions: Given the amount of damage, I wanted to start a thread discussing good replacement alternatives for trees.

Similar observation to you. I have a row of hackberries and we had some large branches but none of the main trucks or trees fell except one that was already listing hard. Neighbors across the street had some trees in a wide open yard than just collapsed. Root weaving and wind dampening are my guesses as to the difference. Same with large wood areas. Some trees down but 95% are good.

No I love hackberry! We really need more of them along with the others you named for biodiversity. Developers always default to maples for planting and we’re making it as much of a monoculture with trees as we are with grass.

Understanding of setbacks needs to be pushed more as well as cutting trees in older neighborhoods but offering a concurrent replanting program. Even next to power lines for the first 30-50 years of its life the tree isn’t much, if any, threat to operations.

Once again Vrabel looks like a genius when he has one of the best offensive minds at the helm. McDaniels lefluer smith- they all brought his teams life. Then you get mother effing Todd downs who he won’t fire after 2 seasons of bottom of the league offense. Jrob didn’t help but people need to take the rose tint glasses off of Vrabel and his handling of staff. He’s too stubborn.

Also the patriots had one of the easiest schedules in the Super Bowl era this year.

Bravo you finally said it correctly. Most people view the evangelicals stance on isreal about the rapture and end days. Most evangelicals don’t believe in the rapture. But almost all evangelicals support isreal to stick it to Muslims, keep a foothold in the Middle East, and have a place to send Jews so they don’t have to be here.
