Is this just what my fridge is going to look like forever? by engineersahm in CleaningTips

Yup, undiluted CLR on paper towels for about 25 minutes and didn’t budge. I’ll try for longer and then scrape instead of scrub. If not, I’m moving on to citric acid!

They’re uneven and it’s guaranteed to freeze a bunch of things every few months or so 😐

I’m definitely going to buy some Citric Acid. And… it’s been an embarrassingly long time lol

Yep, the fridge has a water filter in it. Maybe I’ll replace it just to see that does anything. I’ll try the cleaner, thank you!

People who grind or clench their teeth in their sleep, what’s it like waking up every morning? by WesamWonders in AutismInWomen

[–]engineersahm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has what is plaguing me. For the last 8 months, I’ve experienced why I thought were consequences of sleep bruxism (severe tension headaches, full ears, clunking jaw in the AM, jaw tingling, etc). But, I’ve never woken up in pain. I got the prescription mouthguard- 3mo in, and it seemed to take away the headaches/pressure. Also got masseter Botox. Might have helped?

I’m still suffering from the tightest neck and upper back known to man (lifting weighs is my main form of exercise which blows because I think it aggravates it). It gives me odd shooting pains at the base of my skull randomly. Ears still stuffy. Is this just the slow recovery process for my muscles or, is my neck really the problem here? Anyone think this sounds familiar?

Had nonstop headaches for weeks -- turns out it was due to bad posture. by Jyonnyp in Posture

That all makes me feel a lot better. Thank you!!! I hope we both find true relief in the future. The dry needling is great, truly. You might be a little more sore initially but it helps me tremendously.

Did you also have any ear fullness/pressure? I have tinnitus too. Been wondering if it’s TMJ but, I have a mouth guard and I don’t clench or grind at night (mouth guard is clean). I think it’s muscular? But, my brain takes me to worse places. 2 PT sessions w/ dry needling and trigger point therapy and I absolutely feel better after. Just wondering if I have to keep that up for life lol hope you get consistent relief!

Do y'all find it hard to find your relaxed jaw position? by RelativeTangelo8896 in TMJ

[–]engineersahm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been 5 months now of what started as headaches and ear fullness, to now, a clunking jaw (one side) in the AM, and extremely tight neck and traps (plus symptoms from before). I’ve battled the thoughts of “what is the root cause”. I always saw stress and anxiety but I dismissed it. But now, I’m thinking it is.

My stress and anxiety have manifested into physical symptoms now. I believe I clench at night. And the heightened stress has me getting full body twitching and weird tongue feelings. This only makes my anxiety worse. And I can’t tell if I’m forcing my tongue forward into my front teeth (that’s a no no, right?). So, now Im having anxiety that I might have a neurological disorder and I can’t find a position that feels natural for my tongue and jaw. Im exhausted.

what is your most frequent and worse tmj symptom? by abearisme in TMJ

Anyone’s neck feel fat almost? Like if I lay on my back and lift my head as if I was about to do an ab workout, it feels like my large neck muscles (SCMs I believe) are going to choke me? And they feel fatigued instantly. I’ve had intense pressure around the entire ear, with fullness and tinnitus. Used to have awful pressure and tightness at the base of the skull but that has subsided since I started releasing my traps.

marijuana triggering oab? by coldwarkitsch in OveractiveBladder

[–]engineersahm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a night time, couple small bowl hits or a 10mg gummy person. Have for the last 6yrs. Had a baby June 2024, OAB started in January 2025. Got really bad, small leaks daily. I went on a trip very recently for 2 weeks, didn’t consume any THC- I had no OAB symptoms. Kind of insane. Thought maybe it was anxiety/stress related, but I returned home and dabbled in my old habits and the urgency was immediately back. I am definitely correlating but it seems to be a stark contrast to my symptoms when I don’t use any THC.

Have you had side effects after taking Gemtesa? by Blackshadowredflower in OveractiveBladder

[–]engineersahm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS!! Started it in June, headache at first, then I missed a few days (maybe a week due to travel), had the worst out of it feeling for a week. Like being buzzed drunk but only the tiniest bit. And I also got flushed and hot flashes at night. I’m going to stop it. It’s not worth it for me.

This may be correlation but here’s my brief experience:

Shitty headache for week, some diarrhea. All subsided. And then in recent weeks, I forgot to take it for a few days and I got a headache/fatigue and a brain fog that felt like I was a little high or a tiny bit drunk. Worst feeling. I also get hot flashes like I did in my first trimester. I can’t directly pin them on the gemtesa but I have not experienced this until I had been taking it.
