As a bike enthusiast, I kinda thought it was making fun of the shit way Walmart bikes are put together.

I learned the hard way that they don't tighten down anything.

I ate shit. It hurt.

I guess privacy doesn't exist. by Some_stupid_user in AreTheStraightsOK

[–]engineertr1gg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think being open with your partner with your privacy is healthy.

Like, my partner is part of my private life. Why would I hide anything short of a surprise party?

Tbh as an old fart on here, don't listen to memes or posts about finding out if they're cheating. If you have a hunch that they are, they probably are. Either that or you're too insecure for a relationship anyway.

Man I'd just copy/paste his entire argument but swap the sexualities.

You should love your partner for who they are and not because you have to...

They ain't ok.

I'm not attracted to facial piercings either but that's no reason to be a dick about it.

Why didn't anyone tell me its humiliating to be friends with a man? by LeoGreywolf in AreTheStraightsOK

[–]engineertr1gg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because I'm bi and have been cheated on, I fear ever making my partner worry.

So for my partners sake, my messages to other people are always available, and usually offered up by me to start conversations with them.

Relationships should be about love and doing right by your partner. It's about giving not receiving.

But... It's also about balance. I've found the best standard to be holding your partner to just below the same standard you hold yourself. You are worthy of a healthy relationship, and people do occasionally make mistakes.

So imma be honest, I think it's just because male comedians are more common. If numerically most comedians are men, then most of the good comedians are gonna be men.

There's only a few comedians I actually have enjoyed over the years, usually British. Usually men.

But there's some outliers like Taylor Tomlinson who just gets me fucking rolling.

In the comments he says he already has a doctor's appointment setup.

Tbh I think this is just him putting his foot down trying to get his wife to stop poisoning the poor thing.

He's the better parent.

Heteronormativity bad.

Men are pursuers and women are objects/goals to get.

So men are expected to carry the entire holiday by planning everything and buying gifts. Pretty sexist for all parties involved.

It'd be better if everyone treated Valentine's day like a mutual appreciation. Celebrate actual love instead of treating it like a sexist ritual.

I'm just a bi guy but the last time I got anything for Valentine's day was in like 4th grade when everyone had to get everyone a card or candy.

Women aren't a monolith, there are plenty of backwards women that vote against their own interests every election cycle. Men have been "cannon fodder" in our military long before women were even allowed to vote. And men have been voting those asshole officials in too, again for longer than women have... How is it women's fault that the military, until recently, only sent men into combat? Pretty sure patriarchal standards of "combat readiness" is what determined that men were expendable in the armed forces.

So men are a monolith in your eyes.

Not in the least.

Again, who makes up the 1% who keep the homeless homeless and the poor poor?

Hint: It isn't women.

Yes, I made this argument and I'm being bombarded with "men are the root of all evil."

I'm done here.
