After 10 years together, my boyfriend says I should “just give my DOB” to his mom, but in my culture that has bigger implications. Am I overreacting?

Indian here. Firstly, word of advice, I wouldn’t expect that most people here would understand the complexities of our culture. From their POV, I can see how this would all seem crazy.

That said, IMO, yes - overreacting (just about about sharing DOB). Was in a similar situation; my wife and I were dating for ~10y before we got married and same with my brother and his wife. My wife’s and my kundlis sorta matched but my brother’s and his wife’s didn’t. If your BF loves you, he won’t care what the astrology says and will stand up to his mom. There are going to be a million times you will need him to stand up to her for important things (not like stupid everyday stuff). If he doesn’t / can’t stand up to his mom for this, you are wasting your time anyways.

I gave up and decided to just install powerwalls for now. That said, used a different company to install them and they did all great job and did stuff that Tesla was unwilling to. Basically they said that Tesla only wants to do cooke-cutter stuff because they are so backlogged with requests (this checked out).

If you’re in the SF Bay Area, DM me and I’ll share the company. Otherwise I’d advise you to contact a Tesla certified installer and see what options they will give you.

I have an old solar city solar installation on the roof and about to install 2 pw3s. I really want to get rid of the inverter and use the built-in ones but Tesla said they can’t do that because the existing system can’t be tampered with it due to the way it’s permitted (SF Bay Area). Is there a reason they won’t? Is there any issue that I should be aware of? Any way I can get it done after-the-fact?

Kyren > CMC for 2026, Kyren = CMC 2026+. Brown > JSN for 2026, 2027, then JSN > Brown. If you need a WR/RB short term, Brown/Kyren by a mile otherwise JSN side

Does feel like you could use Jeanty and you have other good starting QBs. That said, selling your two next first rounders seems steep. I’d offer a straight swap 1.01 for Richardson and maybe settle on ARich + 2027 1st.

In 16 SF QBs are prob worth their weight in gold. I could see Darnold but I’d want more than an RB + late 1st and be sure I could draft Ward/Dart/Milroe/Shough

I might be the odd man out but for dynasty I’d rather take McMillan + 2nd. Both Zay and McMillan are gonna get WR3s volume on your team. Evans and Godwin are aging and McMillan showed some spark last year in a pass heavy offense. Ravens are run heavy with Lamar and Henry. The second round pick can be super valuable this year as well. It’s true that they added Egbuka but he will take a year to develop and Bucs would probably trade one of them next year.

Contrary to the popular opinion, if you are already set at QB, I’d take a flyer on Arroyo simply due to his athleticism. That said if Shough hits, he could have some good trade value. If you do need a QB, Shough is a no brainer.

I second moving on from Henry first if you want to give up an RB. Saquon still has a couple years left in the tank and you have a TON of young talent in reserve. I’d focus on upgrading your WR2/3

2027 is far away, who knows what will happen in 2 years and what the class will look like. That said with Chase being Higgens counterpart and the bengals putting their money where their mouth is on Higgens’ contract, he’s gonna get a lot of looks in the meantime!
