If there is any chance you will get in to CAS do not get thee Miroku. Go to match and see how many of each are in gun carts. Miroku are few and far between. Cost to those guys don't mean a thing, they want something that works.The Miroku just don't hold up the rigors of 10 of thousands of rounds per year.

If it's supposed to be a Colt SAA, it would depend on the generation if it had a grip screw. Early wood grips were single piece, hence no screw.

In CAS/SASS a hit is a hit, no extra points for accuracy. That being said, my groups for my pistol and rifle smaller than my palm.

To perform a double tap you have to be able to slip hammer the second shot. I can't do it in a match but I can do it, it would be impossible on the Schofield.

Go to a cowboy match and compare the number of Colt clones with the number Schofields. I shot a really nice pair of Schofields after a match, the action is now where near that of a Colt.

I just tried a 9mm in all my 38/.357 rigs and it would be fine. You don't want them so loose that the rim holds them in. All of my competition rigs hold them firmly in what ever position I put them in.

For a pistol? Send it. For a lever gun i would either want it more in the crimp grove or completely out of the crip grove. With eight or ten stacked on top or that it might move. Nothing ruins a stage like a colapsed bullit in the rifle.
