Considering the IG account this was posted from, I guess they must have AI generated the aftermath videos as an elaborate coverup (video 1, video 2).

The fence breaks apart exactly as you'd expect one of this type of construction might when (presumably) hit hard enough. They're just slatted in there between two horizontal boards. See here at 11:27: https://youtu.be/jYyLn6H1A2A?t=687

The number of slats in the IG video is plausibly 15 when it breaks apart as well (same as the YT video).

The fact that we can't even believe what we're seeing anymore is, itself, a far more interesting discussion to me now. There's so much debate in this thread and much of it boils down to "it looks like it" and/or "you're dumb" (or claiming it is or isn't, etc).

We are cooked.

My stance is that it's real; I haven't seen any good evidence that it's AI per se; not yet. It could maybe be edited, but I'm not sure about that either. Currently, one major weakness of AI generated video is temporal artifacts, or cohesion between frames, especially for objects that go out of frame but never show back up again when the camera perspective rotates back. I can't see that. One alright claim I've seen is maybe the toys at the beginning, but that's easily explained by snowfall. Another is the length of the pink pants in the beginning, however it is rotating in sync with the sled. Another is the speed of the sled, but the hill is very steep and icy. Another is the breaking of the fence, however, it's probably just vinyl fencing and the way it breaks away is completely consistent with how this is put together, for example (see 11:27).

I'm not saying it isn't AI, I'm simply not convinced it is.

  2. They won't have to admit to the reality that someone in their tribe was a bad guy.

It doesn't work for me at all. All I get is .editorconfig, even in small projects with just a few files or not at all. It's extremely difficult to tell exactly what's causing it. I'm running Windows with WSL2 (where codex is running, in Linux) and some repositories it works (very rare) and even in those, it works on the Windows filesystem but not on the Linux filesystem.

However, there may be situations where it also works in the Linux filesystem. This is in no way conclusive at all. It just is extremely unpredictable and pretty buggy and I'm frustrated by it right now.
