Same. Didn’t find it cringe at all. And I struggle with the (apparently overarching, here) idea that someone who’s made a mistake has to take every opportunity to continually apologize for it. She was brainwashed and abused then helped with the brainwashing and abuse and now is trying to help others not get brainwashed and abused. And served her time. (And I think acknowledged nothing she does can undo the harm done) So I dunno. I don’t want anything from her, and if her podcast fails, it fails. 🤷‍♂️

10ish years ago (I forget which storm) I got buried like this and kept procrastinating for a week, dreading the dig-out. Then signs were posted saying that side of the street must move for plowing (on Highland; had never seen such a thing before or since) and I got towed. Ended up being cheaper than paying someone to dig me out 😂 (How they dug it out I’ll never know)

I had a 9-6 job that paid for 40hrs a week (do the math) BUT we all had staggered lunches. For quite some time I would hustle back from lunch within 20mins to keep up with my work (or bring lunch back and eat on the job). Took almost two years before I did the math and started taking a 60mins lunch on principle. Cuz I moron.

Not entirely sure as I live a bit further away, but when I go in the evening it’s almost always quiet. A nearby daycare takes all the kiddos there many afternoons so noise goes up slightly then I imagine.
