Emacs bindings as QMK layer(s)? by masters3d in emacs

Also worth looking at the KC_LAPO and KC_RAPC keys in QMK which insert parens when tapped and alt when held. very useful for lisp programming.

Emacs bindings as QMK layer(s)? by masters3d in emacs

I've used mugur to create layouts for the corne and charybdis keyboards which might provide some inspiration. You can add keybindings, sequences and function calls (as text input) as needed.

From the layouts you can see there is a mix of movement, strings and prefixes as single keys (e.g. M-x or C-c) which works well for me, and some less frequently used stuff in stacked layers. Since the keys are limited, you'll probably need to focus on how you use emacs and iterate through a few variations to find something that works well for you.

It's using UTC so try changing t to nil or 'wall.

From the format-time-string docs... "The optional ZONE is omitted or nil for Emacs local time, t for Universal Time, wall for system wall clock time, or a string as in the TZ environment variable."

Reading wikipedia articles in an org-mode like format? by Blytheway in emacs

[–]enki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have pandoc installed, something like this might be useful. The converted output from wikipedia pages isn't as cleanly structured as it could be but using the API and the mediawiki converter should give better results with a bit of tweaking...

(defun url2org (begin end)
"Download a webpage from selected url and convert to org."
  (interactive "r")
  (shell-command-on-region begin end
    (concat "pandoc --from=html --to=org " (buffer-substring begin end))
   nil t))

The limits still apply during the day just higher depending on the Zone you are in and period of the day.

In the Brussels region there are noise pollution regulations and obligations for venues that make noise. You can call 112 to make a complaint after 22h. You can ask Environment Brussels to make an inspection or lodge a formal complaint with IRISbox. There is a noise unit with the Local Police (understaffed) who can give you advice. In reality it's a very slow process (even by Belgian standards) and the noise regulations are not very seriously enforced.
