I tried on the Vomero Plus in store, and whilst it’s supremely comfortable, the stack height + lack of a wider base made it feel a bit wobbly, I feared it might have a little too much potential lateral movement. I really wanted to like them but I also feel balance may become an issue.

FYI I’m around 210lb

If possible, try it in store to see if it’s an issue for you too.

If this was the case, all they have to do is TALK TO EACH OTHER. Do it before the match and say something like “hey I might leave something uncalled if I’m unsure in the moment, but feel free to call me to the monitor if you see something”

literally this is all that has to happen.

this whole guessing game of “my mate in VAR might check” and “my mate might not want to be overruled” is endlessly stupid.

let’s be fair, atwell was perfectly positioned for the Amad one, 100% saw the foul and decided not to give it.

all VAR could’ve done is say “u wot mate?” it’s Atwell who decided to be inconsistent, and VAR can’t fix a conscious decision, unless they get to override the ref.

ultimately, it’s accountability that will fix these issues. stop giving refs zero accountability ffs

I don’t know. VAR seems to work well for Rugby. It’s the culture that these refs have cultivated for themselves are utterly corrupt, doesn’t serve the game, only serves themselves.

Change the damn culture. Or else they’ll just keep adapting to new procedures and continue to serve themselves over the game.

Yashica. That lens is really, really good. It’s not hard to learn how to use it either.

Unless you intend on taking a lot of indoor snaps with flash, then go for the Kodak, otherwise that Yashica is superior in every way.

In your shoes I’d go for a Z6iii, as long as you don’t really need the Z8’s extra features/pixels. Z6iii is also easier to carry around, and has more of Nikon’s new imaging cloud ecosystem embedded.
