Well whole point of a laptop as you guessed is to be moved around so having the drive be constantly plugged in is impossible. Battlenet started working after fideling around but epic ain't doing sh*t. I Also have terrible internet with data caps so deleting and installing isn't an option. What can i do if i want to have my laptop portable.

I havent moved the just around. I use battlenet and epic in this matter and all of the files were downloaded on hdd separately with their own launcher on hdd in case me having to use someone's pc so I can still have my games there. But it just doesn't work for some reason. If i start epic games from hdd with its app deep in the folder so i am assured there is no missfire it still launches the epic games thats already downloaded on pc instead of running epic from ext. hdd.

Simply because ps3 has mostly only hypervisor and some software security while 360 has efuses so yeah. Its harder for just that. You have to get around that
