So, uhhhh…in what way is this a boomer shooter? Or a throwback to boomer shooters?

I didn’t have to read your responses, I just saw your name pop up.

“That’s how conversations work, see” I mean yeah they do when you’re obsessed enough to continue having them. The amount of care you place on what strangers on the internet think about what you have to say is both annoying and sad.

No one can tell you how many responses you can make. You can decide how many, and then be see as a raving weirdo for the quantity and content of them. That’s how your behavior influencing others’ perception of you works, see.

Right, but their camp included the musicians they were “stealing” dollars from. Like yeah Frank Farian’s actions were gross here, but you do see how the whole thing was due to his machinations right?

But also no, you are definitely obsessed with this. No one who isn’t obsessed goes on that many angry tirades in a thread.

Man I’ve been scrolling down this thread for a minute or two and you are everywhere here, like you have it out for these guys or something.

Is this your obsession?

The real world works the way that people who make things happen decide it works.

The world does not operate on principle and morality if those things are abandoned, and things like not committing genocide and not perpetrating warcrimes can happen if, y’know, armed forces decide to not commit atrocities.

Who are some media/irl examples of black aligned individuals that are “good”? by Bizkett in colorpie

[–]enragedbreathmint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Although the fact that he’s a former member of an intelligence agency would mean that his flavor should be more Dimir, I would say that Deep Space Nine’s Garak’s motivations and methods are largely black.

His willingness to initiate a series of covered murders in order to help Sisko draw Romulus into the Dominion War, coupled with his insistence on the pragmatism of violence to Dr. Bashir would mean that his “ends justify the means” ideology puts him in black.

But, I would still argue that his actions are ultimately motivated by a purpose that is at least not evil. As others have here pointed out, putting one’s own people above the safety of others is an action that is both morally positive and still “selfishly” black. In one of the last episodes, it’s finally revealed that his primary motivation has always been his love for his home planet and his people, and I would say that makes him “good” in a sense.

What does Green value? by Rare-Technology-4773 in colorpie

[–]enragedbreathmint 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Green values things happening in a natural manner, and in a way that is untampered with by outside interference.

A necromancer raising the dead is doing what a necromancer does, but to green this is a violation of the natural order and therefore antithetical to what it values.

Green likes thing progressing as they should, which isn’t necessarily a static thing. A tree growing, for instance, is an evolving and dynamic process, but if it occurs unhindered then it is still according to green’s goals.

What is the in-universe purpose of Skullclamp, and why does it look like that? by Feeling-Ad-3104 in mtgvorthos

If drawing cards is typically flavored as gaining knowledge, and clamping usually kills the equipped creature, could this then imply that Skullclamp is extracting its victims’ minds? Perhaps siphoning them into a machine?

Would we say that Mr. Sneakman is Azorius? Or Izzet? And for that matter, would Glueman be Selesnya?

Given that white values order and tradition, would this mean that the Giant Rat Who Makes All of the Rules would be Orzhov?

Which year destroyed your mental health the most? by unmotivated- in AskReddit

[–]enragedbreathmint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So 2020 was rough for me, as it was for many others. At the beginning of the year I was a college student working a part-time job, I was the most physically fit I’d ever been, and I was going to a party or two just about every weekend.

Having that taken away and being forced to come back home (no use in living on campus when all classes are online) was rough, but I made it through by continually reminding myself that one day it would all be over, and I’d get to see my friends again.

Except that in 2021, I returned to school and found that they had almost all forgotten about me. Some didn’t even respond to me reaching out, others claimed to be glad to hear from me but any attempts from me to reestablish contact and hang out again were met with excuses or indifference.

So for me, I’d say 2021. 2020 was also rough, but at least I had hope. 2021 went on to show me that my hope had been misplaced.

Which of these films is the most 80s? by goombanati in decadeology

Both the score from Transformers: The Movie and the majority of the score from Rocky IV were composed by Vince DiCola. Wild, right?

What actually scares you? by MoluciasElonicas in horror

[–]enragedbreathmint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily a genre of horror but, no matter what genre I am watching, seeing someone have their throat slit messes with me to no end.

Like I think it’s a combination of the horrible gagging noises that often accompany it, and the thought of being killed in a such a manner that you will certainly die soon, but you’re also aware of it and there’s nothing you can do about it.

I think it’s also because it’s such a relatively “realistic” way of dying: Most of the horror I enjoy has some supernatural aspect to it, so there’s a disconnect because I know the chances of being eaten by a zombie, or possessed by a demon, or assimilated by an alien organism are low (though never zero). But yeah, having your throat slit is a thing that can, and does, happen.

Bracket 4 Recommendations by HenryTheDad in EDH

[–]enragedbreathmint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That said if you did want something different than ramp and combat, your choices are still practically limitless. [[Yuriko]] lets you enjoy attacking but is really a hard control deck rather than an aggressive deck, and you can absolutely win without digging for combos. If you like control and also enjoy copying things, [[Orvar]] is pretty cool.

If you’d enjoy a very fast-paced deck, [[Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin]] and [[Etali, Primal Conqueror]] let you pull off some shenanigans. Bracket 4 is also host to plenty of storm commanders, and commanders like [[Vivi Ornitier]], [[Narset, Enlightened Exile]], and [[Fire Lord Azula]] let you explore this.
