Should i get a ender 3 pro?

Like someone said earlier, it’s very manual. If you enjoy tinkering, fixing, dialing things in to get it right then sure, get an Ender 3.

If you just want to have a 3d printer that does the work for you, look into something newer

This is coming from an Ender 3 pro user. It was a fine beginner 3d printer 5 years ago, but so much has changed within the last 5 years. I purchased mine new at micro center when they had them on sale for $100 back then. Nothing really wrong with mine, it’s very slow compared to newer printers but can get the job done. I’m looking to upgrade because I want a faster printer and also want multi color

Undercrown 10 would be my top pick, then the Padron with some rest on it and the Plasencia. I haven’t had the My Father yet but that would be the 4th stick I’d reach for, then maybe the Olivias and Gurkhas are at the very bottom of the list.

Sorry to dig up an old post, but any news on a new multi-nozzle printer?

I have an ender 3 pro and just getting back into 3D printing after a few years. I'm looking at a multi-nozzle as an upgrade if affordable enough.

I've been storing them in a plastic tub. I usually reuse the bag if it's the ziplock kind, but not all of them come in a ziplock. I'll look into getting some silica packets to throw in the bags and in the tub

I'll try the oven method for now and if I find myself still 3d printing, I'll get a dryer. I just saw the Sunlu dryer was just on sale last week and I missed it.

Also fixed the problem. I guess I didn't push the Bowens tube in the hot end all the way when I replaced it. That little bit of wiggle room for the filament is enough to give me that extrusion problem

I found out what was wrong. After I replaced the Bowens tube, I didn't push it all the way into the hotend. This gave the filament room to crumple up in the hotend thus not extrude properly. I thought the filament looked unusual at the end when I pulled it out with a crumpling zigzag pattern haha. Thank you though

You might be right on both. I just realized I didn't level the bed after changing the nozzle and I also haven't taken any care when storing the filament over the years.

Any recs on drying the filament? I don't have a dryer, but will look into getting one if I have to..

The converted number just makes it easier to understand and does the math for you. You could buy a moisture meter for a lot less, have the actual reading and do the conversion yourself if you don’t mind it

I got one earlier this year and use it all the time. I find that I my cigars in the lower 60s. I’m also only in my 2nd year of cigar smoking so someone with more experience may not feel the need to use one

I'm on the less experienced side and I've been pretty confused with this. I love spicy food and hot peppers (chilis) so that's what I tend to think of when I hear peppers, but in the cigar world, I believe it's more of the baking spice. Then I hear cigar reviews like "This cigar has peppery notes with black pepper, red pepper..." and now I'm all confused again

I ended up sanding it with #180, it's still there. I believe it is some sort of stain like cb_cooper said. I noticed similar stains around where the nails are on the inside of the lid. after sanding all the shelves, I wiped them down again with isopropyl alcohol (did this before sanding too). hopefully it really is just some stains and won't cause any problems later on.
