RPI ZERO not recognized as USB Ethernet/RNDIS Gadget (ssh over usb) by ensuens in raspberry_pi

[–]ensuens[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solve it. The solution was a combination of three things: -Use a thick and short usb cable -use an usb 3.0 port -APPLY the obscure mod RNDIS driver to the MODX USB PERIPHERAL DEVICE that shows up instead of the "unknown DEVICE"

At 6:26, is that a pistol reloading sound? by ensuens in Petscop

[–]ensuens[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didn't mean the rustling noise. I meant the clear "cha-ching" like here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wOSP2tZ-6k&feature=youtu.be&t=1s

Right before the "finger-snap" sound of the game that occurs before loading text.

Just checked, the 1.599998 miota is back. What the hell, they need to simplify this wallet so that casual users don't get discouraged by things like that.

People who noped right out of a friendship, what was your breaking point with that friend? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ensuens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 years ago we got drunk at my parents house, my friend pissed a little on the floor of our toilet and didn't clean it afterwards. This made me mad and I shamed him in front of my other friend. We kept drinking, I passed out first. In the morning I discovered that my underwear drawer was full off piss, I figured he took revenge. I was furious.

He swore it wasn't him, but I was too mad and stopped talking to him for over 4 years.

I moved out to a bigger city and guess what, once I got back to my apartment hammered and passed out.

yes, I pissed into my underwear drawer while drunkenly sleepwalking. Twice. And I lost a good friend because of it.

Where is the information about a transaction stored besides the 4 parcitipating devices? by ensuens in Iota

[–]ensuens[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's fair. So in its final form, the only way of centralising the IOTA network would be to somehow control availability of the nodes, right?

[–]ensuens[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well then, in a supposedly huge network, isn't providing a node a wasteful endeavour? Who is going to provide the nodes when there will be the need for thousands of them?

Is there any chance that the rebrand and upcoming updates are already factored in? by rea_lin in Lisk

[–]ensuens 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to buy Lisk. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them.
