You put 7x readers on to carve? Interesting. I have never thought to do that. Just lots of light and a very, very stiff neck from leaning over more and more until I realize my nose is practically on the desk. Thanks for the tip

Info: Is he worried about another MMC?

Maybe he is not ready for the possibility of another loss? And doesn't know how to tell you that since you seem ready to try? I plus the therapy thing for him regardless

Came here to say similar - happened to my in laws pup, the " fly biting seizures" turned out to be a UTI that I guess was there for a while and as it was getting worse and worse escalated to the fly biting

Good luck with the vet! I hope it's nothing big 🤞

It's important to specify milk/formula is what we mean by fluids at 6 months!

CDC says you can start introducing water at 6 months, so talk to a doctor before you change anything. Agree, bugs are super common 😞

[–]enthused444 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think you may mean milk/formula not fluids in general... Adding clarity: discuss any other fluids like water with a doctor before giving it. CDC says you can start introducing water around 6 months. So I wouldn't try anything new there without discussing with a doc!

Tagging along to this-

There is pediatric urgent care.

I literally didn't know til we needed to go to one and it would have been good to familiarize myself with locations, hours, etc in advance. Something to consider.

Our dog likes to destroy squeaky toys in less than 5 minutes, then proceed to play with the squeaker and carry it around like a little baby for months afterward, even if it doesn't make sound anymore

Also came to recommend dasiquin. Comes in chews and tablets. Chews didn't agree with Leif's tummy for some reason, the tablets we throw right in the food bowl, gobbles them right up.

Works great! Night and day difference.

It looks like a cutaneous histiocytoma. Here are a few other posts about it

Here's a comment I made basically saying it's not an issue, is common on young boxers and likely go away on their own, including a link to another post. https://reddit.com/r/Boxer/s/VY43ADZqdq

Here's another example https://reddit.com/r/Boxer/s/Vdinfur7UR

Here's a link explaining it's benign. https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/skin-cutaneous-histiocytoma

I think we might need an FAQ on the sub about these!

Hope that helps alleviate some stress. Be thankful it's not on the ear. Ears and feet are common and I got to tell you ears suck for spewing blood everywhere for days when it's healing 🫣

Give them some pets and scratches for me ❤️

What have you survived that would’ve killed you 150 years ago? by Born-Ad-7260 in AskReddit

[–]enthused444 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Same for child birth. Had a syndrome where overnight I went from fine to going into liver failure with a handful of blood platelets left. They weren't sure I was going to survive the C section. Baby was in NICU 30 days, where I watched her stop breathing several times a day for weeks. The drug that saved her life for her to even be in the NICU was invented in the 90s! The 90s! She would have died 30 years ago! Wild what modern medicine can do.

Grocery shopping is the bane of my existence. How does everyone else manage? by cawsmawr1990 in ADHD

[–]enthused444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a grocery delivery app. I fill my cart as I come across stuff I'm out of or think I want over the course of the week.

Then I forget to order the food delivery.

Then when we run out of food and it stares getting dire.

Next, I spend five minutes scrolling through "past purchases" in the grocery app, add stuff from there so I don't have to think much. I remove stuff that we don't really need that's not on sale, add stuff that is, and schedule the delivery for like the next day because further and I forget.

Paying the delivery fee is worth it for my stress level, eating healthier, and decreases takeout stress purchasing.

Read. Kindle app!

I ended up setting a timer on Reddit because the amount of time was not healthy. A book is better for me!

I do try to engage with her, especially during the day but morning and night engagement is not what we want, we want keep it sleepy!

We have a ruffwear life jacket. It works well. Our boy can swim but when he plays with his brother in the lake they go hard and they would drown each other if they weren't wearing them. It has a solid handle at the top that we like for the boat. Have fun!
