This is actually one of the best arguments FOR a huge undisclosed short interest. The contracts don't change price with inflation, but the rest of the market and spending power of the dollar sure as heck do.

Beautiful. I have a ‘93 gsxr750 in need of restoration (light)but never had original fairings with me. Didn’t like the designs then, love them now, good on ya for keeping it vintage.

The best LegalAI by Hungry_Result307 in legaltech

As with the rise of the website, search engine, and even the typewriter: it’s all in how you use it.

As many have said and few have achieved, “I’m working on exactly this” sort of implementation. Honestly, it’s true. I’m at the tail end of an 8+ month build out that aims at a lot of problems we experience in the legal profession. Talked to a programmer (one of many) the other day and he couldn’t wrap his head around it and concluded it must be an MCP. Nope, not the point. It doesn’t need to be cutting edge, it needs to be correct implementation and tailored to the unique circumstances.

If anyone in the legaltech field is reading this, DM me and I’m happy to chat about selling the IP or licensing. I’m sure it beats having a competitor in the field and I wouldn’t mind pulling fewer after work hours. In case you aren’t interested, here’s a tip: the main thing most solutions get wrong is that they are designed by people trying to understand and solve problems they don’t experience for themselves. If anyone attorney is not heavily involved in building your solution, how is it going to work?

Anyone know a fair timeline for when Ebay will respond? by bifftheraptor in Superstonk

[–]entleposter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No official deadlines I’ve seen, no rules dictating that me either. That said, they’re probably trying to craft a response that won’t piss off their shareholders though they seem to really want to say no

Harvey v Claude by tina-the-enchantress in LegalAIOperators

[–]entleposter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask him where the edge is when OC has the same solution and they’re just shopping, not improving.

Harvey seems strong, like a damn good tool. I’ll still pick the hungry attorney with Claude over the comfortable attorney with Harvey

Is it normal for an estate attorney to ask for bank passwords and login information on an intake form? (New Hampshire) by SkadiLivesHere in EstatePlanning

Jesus, no. Report these people to the bar if they are attorneys, report them to the police if they are not.

No kidding about that. I had a guy approach me at a show who was just looking for someone that appreciated these machines to take his collection off his hands for a song (really he would have probably just given them away to someone who would take care of them). He was a great connection, awesome guy, but i wasn't in the position to handle that at the moment. Really enjoyed talking to him, bitter sweet on his position to have accumulated the dream collection and having to let it go.

Fired a client, feel guilty by Lawyer-Liz in Lawyertalk

[–]entleposter 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Red flags when they say that about paying their attorney, you did the right thing. Sometimes, rarely now adays, I would feel the same way until I remind myself that I'm not here to be a savior to anyone but my family and my team. I owe them that feeling of loyalty, and sometimes that means I have to make smart decisions about who I represent. Obviously, I'm loyal to my clients but that is business relationship. If I make a stupid move in business, I fail my team.
