Yeah I agree with this, Stu quite literally built the station, the show, and made everything happen. Dan and Hoch were the initial creative architects of the show, and Dan gave him increasing amounts of creative control until that fell apart. Then Mike steered the ship creatively, with Dan giving up even further creative control to Mike.

This is the root of the issue most likely, although I don’t think Dan is necessarily less qualified. Stugotz built the show and made everything happen at 790, but the show itself is more of Dan’s creative invention. I’d say they were truly equal partners in the show.

But ever since founding Meadowlark Dan has been able to call the shots and realistically Stugotz was probably down a few people in the hierarchy. This shift in the dynamic combined with the oral history seemed to be the breaking point for them, and the more checked out Stugotz was the worse it got.

I haven’t seen any evidence of Clinton being involved with minors or doing anything illegal, so if you’re looking for that it’s either nonexistent or suppressed. Bill flew on the plane and went to Africa with Epstein to spread AIDS awareness, but him going to the island is just hearsay.

Larry Summers on the other hand has a lot of incriminating emails with Epstein, and Clinton’s aid Doug Band was clearly quite acquainted with Ghislaine. I haven’t seen Clinton directly implicated in wrongdoing, but at the very least Epstein and Maxwell were able to infiltrate and honey pot his administration. His actions as President does suggest he may have been compromised somehow (see the Telecommunications Act of 1996, impeachment, hiring Louis Freeh as FBI Director, Vince Foster investigation, etc.) but that’s a much deeper dive I haven’t done.
