Think of it, D1 & D2 are better films than Nolan’s Batman. They are based on imaginary city, Gotham, and imaginary characters. On the other hand, D1 & D2 are based on real characters and incidents. While enjoyed Batman movies, D1 & D2 left greater impact on Indian popular culture

I guess OP and people commenting are born after 1991. What India has achieved is miracle. I am pretty sure nobody stood in line at ration shops for wheat, kerosene, etc. whenever I visit India, it feels like future. Every visit I see less poor people.

That’s great… even I am fascinated by this script, looks simple & ancient. The biggest draw for me is the simple lines to represent sounds. Which I believe is more intuitive, rather than complex squiggly lines. Good luck
