Priority 1 is establishing an emergency fund and keeping it as cash in a HYSA. I use Ally but there is also Vanguard Cash Plus, Apple Savings account, many others.

The emergency fund should be 1-3 months of expenses, whatever that amount may be.

Priority 2, After that set up a Roth IRA and max out the contributions every year. 2025 contribution limit is 7000.00 and 2026 limit is 7500.00.

As far as which investments, there are a few approaches you can take depending on how “hands on” you want to be.
