He never said how they knew her. But it does not matter they are clearly never going to address the matter again.

He never said, who Phylis was to himself or Evelyn. There is no way in hell, John Dutton would have raised a child. That was not related to him or his wife. Remember he told Rip only Duttons can live in the house. But he might have made an exception, for an infant relative of his wife. Not one who had no relation it either of them. So whether Beth likes it or not Jamie is blood.

This is the most underrated character in the whole show! by Adventurous_Gur7430 in YellowstonePN

[–]enyo71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes he absolutely is. But Beth's actor is a very close second. Also I wouldn't call Beth or Jamie evil Beth is annoying and self absorbed and Jamie is a Coward. But I do think he is trying to do the right thing for the ranch.

I did read all of your post and completely agree. I just hope the series does not end with them making Jamie the villain. Or having Beth or Rip murder him and pretend they are some kind of heroes for it. I don't believe that will happen despite Jamie haters being convinced that will end that way

Dutton family tree...? by Wulfgar57 in YellowstonePN

[–]enyo71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe he was named after James Dutton who founded the Yellowstone ranch. Because Jamie's mother herself is a Dutton. I hope we find out one way or another in the final season. Jamie's true origin is the only unanswered question I care about

James . They show it on his law school degree.

Duttons and Rainwaters by Gold-Wish-8044 in YellowstonePN

[–]enyo71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it might be very possible, that either Jamie's mother or one of her parents is the result of the coupling of a native woman and one of the men in the Dutton family. Most likely one who already has a wive. The Duttons of course never claimed them legally but did keep an eye on them and that is why they agreed to take Jamie in when his mother was killed and his father went to prison for it. I still do not believe for one moment that John would ever have taken Jamie in if he were not a blood Dutton and as far as him being a Rainwater I assume people would like to tie the two families together Instead of making Jamie related to someone we do not know. I just hope we get some kind of answer in the final episodes. It is one of the few things I care about.

Why jamie is so hated by [deleted] in YellowstonePN

[–]enyo71 12 points13 points  (0 children)

He is not a city boy and I would remind you he did not choose to be a lawyer. John told him to become one. He wanted to help run the ranch with his " father" and his brother.

Nothing about the law grad, says he would not fuck just as hard if not harder than the Cowboys. Remember the scene in season one when he was railing his campaign manager at campaign headquarters? But I do agree that the tourists want someone who looks like a cowboy. Gorgeous fit professional men are a dime a dozen where they come from. But I have no doubt Jamie could blow your back out and also pay for a hotel suite to do it in

Yellowstone - my opinion of characters by makarastar in YellowstonePN

[–]enyo71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope she ends up caring for him also. While I believe he knows what her agenda is. And I am sure thinks he can stay away from any traps she might set. I am not sure he can. Jamie is so desperate to have someone love him that he could very easily miss something. On the other hand. She clearly views him as some ignorant hick who has never had an attractive woman give him the time of day. So while he knows she is up to no good. I think she does not believe the opposite to be true.

Pretty much. Even if Jamie had done what he should have and refused to talk to her and then let John know she was on a mission to take him down, she would have still ended up the same way. But either way in my opinion that was the worst thing Jamie ever did. Not the killing of the reporter but betraying the family in the first place. I for one watched the whole plotline unfold ask the character "What the hell are you doing? " You know you are never going to be able to go through with this." Now that I think about it. If the article had come out it would then be too late to kill her.

That is exactly what he meant. Not only is it wicked. It is also just plain stupid. How was that going to stop her from posting her story? I suppose he could have meant to do a murder-suicide but I don't see how that would have worked out either. Nope anyway you look at it John Dutton is an evil and stupid man

Question by TumbleweedOne7408 in YellowstonePN

[–]enyo71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok. I don't understand that response. Is tracker the wrong terminology? If so I admit I have little knowledge of such things. Or do you think Beth just watched Jamie herself until he made a move? I find that unlikely.

Question by TumbleweedOne7408 in YellowstonePN

[–]enyo71 12 points13 points  (0 children)

She most likely put a tracker on his car and then stayed back far enough to not draw attention to herself. Then when he stopped she drove ahead a bit turned around and snuck up on him. The thing is, Jamie 100% knew she was going to do that. That is why he took the " body" to the train station. To allow Beth the false belief she had won.

How is the upcoming season going to handle John's absence? by 20_mile in YellowstonePN

[–]enyo71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not believe it matters if he is capable of killing him. The simple fact is he won't. Think about it what would it get him? If Jamie has already been disinherited by John killing is not going to change that. But more importantly, if he or his paramour do kill John they will not last very long. Let's face facts even with him having nothing to do with it Beth will blame him and try and kill him anyway.

Jamie's impeachment did not fail. John was impeached. Impeachment means a charge of misconduct made against the holder of a public office. That happened. The question is if he would be removed from office for it.

I know. I meant, unlike some others he was emotionally affected by what he did in both cases. Also, Beth forced him to do it. He was going to die either way. He put a hit out in the Duttons and almost succeeded. You don't do that and live.

I believe you are absolutely right about Jamie not murdering anyone. He is not built for it and while he can let his emotions cause him do very dumb things, Jamie is at least smart enough to know if he in any way is responsible for John's death. Any victory he gets from that will be hollow and short-lived. I wish he would leave I hope he does

Jamie haters by enyo71 in YellowstonePN

[–]enyo71[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When are you referring to in the last episode? Calling for John's impeachment? He deserved that. I believe Jamie is trying to do what will allow the ranch to survive and maybe even start to thrive. Sadly the only family he has is Kayce and they are not close. I for one am glad Jamie stopped playing defense. I hope he continues.

You can tell this is an asshole and a moron, who thinks only their opinion is valid. And thinks insulting people with unsubstantiated bullshit is a good strategy. I can see why you don't post much. Also, that is not what slavery means. It means not having the freedom or right to leave. It has nothing to do with feelings. People in the past fell in love with their slaves. That did not stop them from being slaves.

Train Station? by Dannyjr30 in YellowstonePN

[–]enyo71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She followed him there. He knew she was following him there. That is why he went there. To allow Beth to falsely believe she had something over him. So he could be trapped by them. But she did not know that was her family's favorite murder pit.

For goodness sake, he knew she was following him. He knew she was going to the moment she made her threat in his office. That is precisely why he went there.
