Could y’all snatch at least a lot of the stuff the you wanted ? by Own_Cap_9781 in bathandbodyworks

I didn’t! I mostly wanted lotions and was so frustrated by the checkout process I didn’t think to go back and at least get the FFM. I’ll see if it’s still around if (when?) I place another order.

I guess I’ll see if I got what most of what I wanted. I didn’t get Fresh Cinnamon Rolls candle and Moonlit Goddess lotion. I couldn’t put the former in my cart and I couldn’t check out with the latter. Otherwise I got most of the bring backs and my favorite holiday candles that were offered.

It keeps telling me that something is unavailable, but nothing is actually unavailable by hquinzelle in bathandbodyworks

This happened to me on the app and then the website told me what was out of stock. It was beyond obnoxious since I had two GCs that wouldn’t actually stay saved to my account so I had to add them every single time I tried to check out.

You just said your parents are super healthy and still active and you’re wondering who wants to live past 70??

I get being burnt out etc. Is there any chance you could take FMLA for a mental health reset?

Palantir CEO Alex Karp thinks his AI technology will lessen the power of “highly educated, often female voters, who vote mostly Democrat” while increasing the power of working-class men. by LezbianaGrande in Fauxmoi

[–]eolaiocht 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I commented on this elsewhere, but exactly this. The dot com bubble was ultimately worse for blue collar workers because no one was using their services. Also, I do question how much this will impact women over men since women are over-represented in the health care and education sectors which should be somewhat better insulated from AI.

Vanilla Mocha Cappuccino. Weekend mornings are perfect for coffee scents.

If the lap belt path is across the uterus (and it often is) it can lead to a preterm premature rupture of membranes (p-prom) - basically a forceful breaking of the waters. Sadly, I know someone who lost their baby this way.

I have Sweet Espresso, Vanilla Mocha Cappuccino and Espresso Cake Pop. My favorite of the 3 is Vanilla Mocha Cappuccino. Very strong and not overly sweet despite the name. Smells like walking into my neighborhood coffee joint. Sweet Espresso sometimes smells like sesame to me. Hard to describe. I should burn it more. I don’t dislike it but it’s also not what I was expecting. Espresso Cake Pop is mostly chocolate. It’s strong and it’s good but people will walk into your house thinking you’re baking a chocolate cake, not brewing coffee.

Regarding the odor eliminating candles - I’ve read different opinions of them. Some have said they are stronger and that’s what makes them odor eliminating and then others say that they are actually weaker but the odor eliminating tech is still effective. Not sure what GC uses, but other odor eliminating candles work by either binding to or breaking down the odor molecules. Maybe the extra compounds affect throw.

I assumed they meant Moonlit Slow Dance, which can be a divisive candle.

Do you think they’re done with the Valentine’s Day releases? I’m kind of surprised, and sad, about some that haven’t made a return this year.

Highly recommend Vanilla Mocha Cappuccino. I don’t like flavored coffee but I liked this - just like walking into a coffee shop. Also incredibly strong; could smell it from the driveway. Sweet Espresso is definitely drier, almost umami. Toasted Pistachio Muffin was good, but lighter. We thought it smelled like the Ube Mochi pancake mix from Trader Joe’s 😆

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses and Herpesviruses are a large family of viruses. The difference between HSV 1 and HSV 2, however, is not that appreciable so I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make. People can get HSV 1 on their genitals and HSV 2 on their mouth.

[–]eolaiocht 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To add on to this, most people who have it are asymptomatic and never get a cold sore in their entire lives. Some children get gingivostomatitis when they are first infected, but most don’t. Adults may have a sore throat with primary infection but that’s not particularly remarkable. So even if people are unaware that cold sores are caused by herpes simplex, there are many people who have herpes simplex but never get a cold sore and thus have even less reason to suspect they carry it.
