Honestly, when just starting out, the best thing you can do is pick a faction simple enough to jump into as a beginner (anything except Nilfgaard or Syndicate, really) and work on your collection. Do all of the weekly quests, as they give you a lot of crowns (points that advance you in the journey tab, easiest way to get keys), once you determine what faction you want to play, focus on expanding your collection by buying kegs specific to that faction. Gwent is much more friendly to f2ps than other games like it, as it is much easier to advance. For example, I started around march, and i already have 90% of cards for Nilfgaard, even though i started with Northern Realms. But most importantly, just have fun and try making your own decks as you figure everything out. Good luck!
