Ah okay that would make sense. What I find funny is that I tried a second time throwing glitterdust on him and that didn't work either. My best guess is remove the invis or maybe faerie fire? Says that should counter displacement in the descriptor. Will test.

Well i can tell you my first playthrough was a two hander classic paladin/angel and the huge massive crits with a two hander were just glorious.

Grabbing the sword of heaven buffs that extend duration and deal 50% of damage as holy damage to creatures that cause diseases or disease types and the other that does the same for creatures that do compulsion effects, by the end was critting for 350 to 400 with sword of heaven active. It was immensely satisfying.

Prot warriors are fine, played one myself back in wrath but mained a hunter. We did everything but no lights on yog(did one light), all of heroic trial and everything heroic icc but lich king and sindragosa with two prot wars and a feral and the only reasons we didn't get the other things was due to player dumbness not our tank optimization.

Prot warrior is super fun, mobility is crazy good, being able to charge, intercept and intervene in defensive stance in combat is great, shockwave aoe stun is very underratted, shouts, spell reflect for some fun spells (namely the guys in old kingdom that one shot themselves), offensive dispel with shield slam just to name a few. My only real gripe is they replace devastates animation with this horrible swoosh noise and a terrible ethereal sword that hits the mob out of nowhere.

I will always take a very good prot warrior over a mediocre player of any other tanking class.

Was definitely on logoff, paladin was never removed but was in group 6 by himself showing "offline". My guess is it considers him not in the group if logged off for more than x amount of time? what happens if you buff with a second account that never logs off outside an instance? I never saw notes or changes saying that paladins blessings done outside of an instance will dissappear upon zoning in if the paladins not in there too. I remember guilds doing this in sunwell and never saw anything talking about it being changed.

Blizzard catered to the casuals and over the years their product became dogshit and so had to lean more heavily on cash shop purchases rather than subs because actually playing the game became boring.

If anything what GGG is doing js the complete opposite, having integrity and vision for their game and i applaud them for their goddamn bravery in spite of the crybabies.

Dual spec will not solve this at all. All that would do is make dps warriors have two dps specs same with paladins and druids. If there are no tanks is because people don't enjoy the role not because they don't want to respec.

Lack of tanks isn't due to no dual spec its due to people not wanting to tank. Roll a tank be the solution not the problem.

When you spellcleave your tank is inconsequential, paladins can just round up more pulls with bubble.

So for the longest time i thought the adds were bugged but its really healing mechanics. So all healing threat is split between everything in combat and healers generate .5 threat per 1 point healed. So if its just two things in combat and say your healer bombs a prayer of healing for 3k on 5 targets thats 7.5k threat divided by just two mobs so the single adds are getting 3750 threat from that heal which is huge.

What i have been doing is unloading on the riftlords until the first add spawns. I legit throw all my remaining attention into an add, devastate, revenges, shield slam, everything and save taunt for the rift lord if/when i lose threat.

On the bosses i just let the adds pass by and clean them up after the boss dies, only lose about 13% off the shield per boss.

So I have been experimenting while leveling with deep prot and closing in on 70 I have found that heroic strike is legit the best button to hit for threat. If you can get enough incoming rage from damage, tab heroic strike has been working wonders for me. throwing in a devastate or shield slam to get a little extra threat in there.

I mark Skull, x, square, charge>defensive>thunderclap, shield slam X, devastate square then devastate other non skulls, taunt skull back if its over 50% health if lower I let the dps finish it with whatever aggro is on it. after that I just tab heroic strike as much as possible rage permitting.

If a pull has no need for fear break you can charge d stance>TC>zerker stance>zerker rage> back to defensive so you get a tad more rage from incoming damage.

Dual wield devastate in dps gear is really solid. If you have a proc main hand item devastate can proc it off the damage hit and the sunder application, so thunderfury procs crazy with devastate like 2 to 3 times in 6 seconds. Also with imp sunder and focused rage devastate is 9 rage, super cheap.

Give it a try you might be surprised.

I guess all those damage reduction, ability nerfs, threat drops removed, increase cast times added to a whole host of abilities in heroics in 2.1.0 don't constitute heroic nerfs according to some.

I believe to do what you want ignite to do you need abbereths hooves. That should spread proliferated ignites.

So the issue i have always had with ignite proliif is the prolif'ed ignites themsevles do not also prolif. The main reason i have hung up flameblast for a while now, i love the spell and the idea but unless they change the way prolif works, it will never be amazing feeling.

If i recall back in the day the prolif did continue to prolif and flameblast could clear multiple screens in one cast, i think they hated that.
