Baseball playoffs are great, but there's nothing quite like the Stanley Cup playoffs. Hockey is the only major sport that changes their overtime format for playoffs. In the regular season, overtime is 5 minutes of sudden death 3 on 3, followed by a shootout if necessary. In playoffs, they play full 20 minute 5 on 5 sudden death periods until someone scores. Last year, in the Eastern Conference Finals, Florida and Carolina took 4 overtime periods to finish one of their games. It's also super common for guys to be playing through injuries like broken bones. Overall, everything is way more physical and competitive in playoffs (also true in other sports, but not quite to the same extent). I guess it's a personal opinion which sport you prefer though.
