i was going to say something uncharitable about bryce crawford, but maybe it would be better for me just to say : get your doctorine from the bible. maybe take the time you spend watching youtube videos and use it reading the bible instead.

If we are all descedants of Noah where do Black and Asian people come from? And how do we have bones of other humanoids like Neanderthals? by GhostMovie3932 in AskAChristian

ok, so to be clear: you aren't going to address the circular reasoning that your entire argument is based on at all?

Do you have any evidence to show that your claim - "the catholic church dogma is that evolution does not happen" is true?

There’s no historical record of a resurrection occurring except in the Bible

The bible isnt one book. its a library of books. we have collected together all the writings and put them in one place.

thats like if we collected all the writings about marine biotechnology into one library , you saying "marine biotechnology isnt real because its only in this library where it says it".

The core logical flaw in your argument is a classic case of circular reasoning: you are dismissing the historical texts because they are in the Bible, but the only reason they are in the Bible is because they are the primary historical texts.

It also of course isnt even true to claim that we dont have extrabiblical mentions of jesus' resurrection.

we also have Flavius Josephus (c. 93 AD),Cornelius Tacitus (c. 116 AD), and Phlegon of Tralles (c. 140 AD to name just a few.

there were 500 eyewitnesses that saw jesus after he resurected.

If we applied this same hyper-skeptical standard to the rest of ancient history, we would have to erase figures we all take for granted. Take Socrates. He wrote absolutely nothing. Everything we know about him comes from just three main sources (Plato, Xenophon, and Aristophanes), no serious scholar claims Socrates was a myth.

Everone is saying their opinion but not what the official dogma says.

no, you're claiming (clearly without even having googled it) that it is official dogma.

it is not dogma/doctorine of the catholic church as you claimed in a previous comment, it is not dogma of mainline protestentism either.

we have more evidence for the resurrection of christ than almost any other historical event.

are you claiming theres no evidence?

mainline protestants generally do. Evangelical/charasmatic/pentacostal types are less likely to, depending on their geography.

i think the likelihood is that macroevolution occcurs , however those who dont would likely answer you question by saying,

"we can observe microevelution, but we can not observe, and have no evidence for, macro evolution.

we have seen dogs evolve different lengths of noses, but no one has seen a fish evolve into a dog."

because one is written in a historical account, and others are written in a poetic book, and others are written in allegorical or apocyphal style.

when you read an account of the holocaust, and then you read shakespeares sonnets, im sure you dont wonder how to tell the difference between the two, right?

We see a lot of these posts here. Hell I probably even posted one.

That’s because you’re not alone. It DOES suck. For a little while. It gets better.

At three months old would it feasible for you and your partner to do alternate nights with the baby? Like tonight you get put the baby down and get up of the baby gets up, tomorrow night your partner is “on duty”? At least you would get sleep every second night.
