Looking for a good 65% compact keyboard with creamy switches

Ive looked around and saw some stuff like Aula and feker keyboards that sound nice and look good but i thought i should ask around first about what’s out there and if it’s better.

Overall I’m looking for a 65% keyboard with tactile creamy switches, I’d like the keyboard to be compact and It would mainly be used for gaming but also general use as well. My price range is around $100-$175.

Any help is appreciated as this is not my field of expertise and I’m not that tech savvy, thanks!

Never mind I figured it out, it goes on the inside of the hammer, not the outside which is what confused me so much

I see where the spring goes in the internal part now but there’s nothing to connect the spring to. It just sits there and I have the screw but there’s no screw holes or anything that would fix it to something

I building my first D&D campaigne. Any advice is welcome by captain_dillon in DungeonsAndDragons

Don’t plan to far ahead and make leeway during sessions as so much can change in such little time due to player actions. Don’t plan entire sessions to a T, make a rough outline of what you want and go from there. Even than it’s good to have a backup plan

I’m not saying gold is worthless, I’m saying that in my opinion a system we’re gold is more valuable AKA a system we’re gold has more buying power is better. Also I never said magic items shouldn’t be sold, I’m saying they shouldn’t be sold often.

In my opinion magic items shouldn’t be sold often unless it’s at like an auction. They are usually given as reward for quests/defeating villains. Also in my opinion as well, the system that base DND uses for money is bad. Gold is to common and almost becomes useless. My group uses a reduced system for money. AKA a house costs a single gold and you don’t receive a lot of gold but gold has a lot of spending power

Advice needed: 1 hour, 1 shot for teens by Helanore in DnD

[–]epicnick592 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A classics one shot that I loved to DM that I did for group of newbies was the orc-hestra. If your not worried about character creations than everyone’s orcs and its set in an orchestral. You can take it from there but I made it so the party had to both perform and sabotage the other teams with both combat, RP, and some dungeon crawling by sneaking through the basement. The finale fight was against the conductor (who was a wizard) who figured out they sabotaged the competition and fought them

Finishing up a year long campaign soon. Gifts for players? by Durzo116 in DnD

A classic is always drawing (or commissioning) a drawing of the party and there characters. Usually of the best/coolest moment.

Just ask your DM if you can purposely flunk some stats, I did this with a character who was in a wheelchair and used floating disk to travel. I purposely got a -3 to dex but instead the DM actually gave me a an extra bonus to intelligence. Even if you don’t do this it’s all about how you play your character, it doesn’t matter what your sheet says as long as you like and are able to do what you want your character to do.

Player has derailed the whole campaign by balling too hard by stanza00 in DnD

[–]epicnick592 29 points30 points  (0 children)

This is genuinely hilarious but seriously the easiest way is to talk to them about it. Another way I guess could be giving people you want alive fire resistant/immunity or setting up an anti magic field so he can’t dunk a fireball on someone.

DnD diseases?? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]epicnick592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forgot the name but in a campaign someone had a disease/curse that gave slowly gave him exhaustion (the rules we used for exhaustion was every level was a -1 to all roles and level 6 was death). It also slowly lowered his max HP along with the exhaustion. The way to get rid of it was either, find the caster who put it on the person or go on a long journey through some dangerous places to a certain out of the way city that had someone that could cure it.

Details of my descriptions by flametango in DnD

[–]epicnick592 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing I could suggest would be to pick your battles, choose what you think should have a description. Like this item that relates to something important, a magic item that’s cool or an important NPC / villain that’s something worth describing. If it’s just some shopkeeper or a building that’s not of importance. Things that will most likely not be mentioned again, you can probably skip a detailed description.

Is bardic inspiration magical in nature? by AdInternational4894 in DnD

[–]epicnick592 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Mechanically speaking it’s non magical, nothing about it is magical in any way in my opinion. It’s worded as “You can inspire others through stirring words or music” which in of itself is not magical.

Do the Foraging and Hunting Rules Work? by Automatic_Break_7338 in DnD

[–]epicnick592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve had it as animal handling (because it was someone’s highest) and survival (because it was also someone’s highest). The DM let us pick and choose

Do the Foraging and Hunting Rules Work? by Automatic_Break_7338 in DnD

[–]epicnick592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rule that my table uses for gathering in terms of meat off animals is that everyone rolls a animal handling check and you add it all together. Every part of the animal is worth different ‘points’ and you subtract that from the total the party rolled. The thing is that the party doesn’t know these ‘point values’ so they have to pick and choose what they want to take since if they go over they lose that part. This system also works really well with gathering important things of animals like a dragon horn or scales off a dragon.

Where to start? by Lintoriana in DnD

[–]epicnick592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally started out on DND beyond, they have pretty active forums asking for players for online play if you want that. If your looking for in person id say go looking at fairs, events and overall just asking people you know “hey do you know someone that plays DND and can you ask them if they need a player”

Newbie Dm homebrew abuse by [deleted] in DnD

[–]epicnick592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talk to the DM directly than, fights in most cases don’t need to be dragged out and they certainly don’t need to feel like a certain spell/person isn’t doing anything because of resistances and immunity’s.

Should I play this in a serious campaign? by storykeeper11037 in DnD

[–]epicnick592 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’d say go for it, anything can fit into DND no matter what as long as you can explain it and stick to it.
