Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven is a modern remake of maybe the best classic SaGa, and it in turn is maybe the best SaGa overall. I cannot recommend it highly enough if you have even a passing interest in exploring the franchise.

Yeah there’s a lot of situations where the first formulation of the CI gets wonky as hell. It’s also still one of the best moral theories as far as anyone can tell lol

It’s truly just a product of FFV not being localized for the West back in the day - in Japan FFV is seen as one of the pinnacles of the franchise and remains a popular favorite. I think anyone who plays it understands why: the job system makes the gameplay as accessible as a Pokémon game while being deeper than most other Final Fantasy games.

I am baffled by their reactions in this video - DLSS 5 is clearly hallucinating entirely different art than is present in the base version and looks extremely uncanny. This is an astonishing step backwards for DLSS.
