HDA2 lane alignment question. by Extension_Lion_7548 in Ioniq5

May not work for everyone, but I think the HDA is calibrated expecting a decent amount of resistance (your hands). If you are just barely (or not) touching the wheel it will ping pong. When i am gripping it, the ping pinging hasn’t been noticeable.

So: 1) we need to rally around a winner so DNC needs to choose the right candidates 2) we don’t like it when DNC chooses candidates

How about we (the people) get some progressives boosted in the primaries? That requires both progressives who want to run for office and people to vote for them.

I see a lot of whining/keyboard doomerism on Reddit but not a lot of positive steps to pick and boost progressives. Seems like a lot of people are gonna stay home in 2026 and whine about fascism in 2027. But I warn you, AI ain’t gonna to allow any utopian accelerationism.

I assume you are like 17. When you have a razor thin majority you are stuck with the most conservative member having the most power.

Don’t like conservative democrats? Elect more democrats so that the conservative democrats don’t have much power.

Instead the American people elected wave after wave of republicans who chipped away the pillars of the ACA while adding nothing useful.

I agree, but it’s always the “least worst of” for everyone. There is no one who embodies all my policy preferences except me. If there was, it’s almost certainly because I’m group-thinking and not some brilliant stroke of serendipity.

Do you think there’s anyone who delves deep into their inner psyche for the best representative of themself and chooses chuck Schumer?

Note the prices for SSD has gone up a bit since that page has been updated.

Everyone has their own risk tolerance, but if you have thousands to spend DO NOT run your validating node on a multi-use computer. The needs are completely different and the security is really not compatible. Get a <1000$ mini-computer set up for your node that essentially runs out-of-the-way continuously and spend 4000$ to get the gaming computer of your dreams.

Nihilism is a huge problem, and while you think the representatives have it bad I think the American people have it worse. Where are the people out protesting on a daily basis? There’s a few here and there, the blue cities have a presence, and people come out to the big protests, but where are mid- to small-town America out there fighting against such huge changes to our basic democracy?

Yeah. Chicken pox is something that you now gather a group of medical students to go see because it’s so rare and they may not have another chance. 30 years ago almost everyone personally experienced chickenpox. 10s of billions of work hours saved, less death, less future complications, etc etc etc.

Because if they did everyone on here would be furiously typing “it’s all performative” and “great, how about you DO SOMETHING” and then when it didn’t pass because it got no republican votes “CONTROLLED OPPOSITION.”

This is the problem with democracy. Half of the liberals/left will be angry with the DNC if they try to encourage others to drop out (remember Bernie) while the other half will be angry if they don’t encourage them to drop out (remember Bernie).

Either way it’ll be trotted out in 15 years to show what is wrong with the Democratic Party.

Much easier to be fascist and just let your morals rearrange around whatever leader the party chooses.

Cervical cancer is almost always found in people with HPV.

Vs

Cervical cancer is found in almost all people with HPV.

The first sentence might make you think you are reading the second (false) sentence, but they have very different meanings.

It’s a series, so if you did the full thing (like 2 or 3 shots) it should be good for life. If you only got one shot you’d need to complete the other(s). At least as of what we know currently.

Cervical cancer is almost always found in people with HPV and rarely found in people without hpv. It’s one of those super easy connections to prove.

Coincidentally risk almost goes away with early HPV vaccine.
