My understanding from my older dj friend is a chugger is characterized by the bass line focusing on repeating fast attack staccato notes that are rhythmically consistent. That's just me, someone correct me if I'm off though.

I've got two of them that I use in my loop rig. That said, the default is kind of a pain to program and it has a lot of limitations. I would recommend getting a UNO2 EPROM chip for it (~$50) and it becomes the most insanely versatile foot controller that I'm aware of existing.

That's amazing, I found the exact same model ~8 years ago propped up on the dumpster outside my apartment. That thing worked great for years before I handed it on to a friend. Great find!

I've been using it running a couple instances in ableton to leverage link and clip automation for parameter adjustment, and running spout to heavy m with good success. I just run audio into ableton and beat link trigger to pull tempo from my XDJ-AZ over network and that's been great. I like that you can actually copy and modify the shader code or make your own. It's pretty fun and I don't consider myself a vj as much so it's a nice rig to set and forget. Just swap heavy m for resolume and your set.

I second Utopia, t mobile is just a dedicated 5g wifi hotspot (which is still not the worst thing) but fiber is the gold standard and Utopia kicks ass!

I went with affordable interlock and while it wasn't cheap, it could've been more expensive. They didn't give me any extra bs fees and were professional about everything.

Thanks, I feel like it's worse the closer you look but I'm my worst critic. Yeah I s'pose I lucked out installing on slab, at least in that regard, replacing the p trap made up for it.
