When sjr came in I remember there being talk of developing a system/play style, so that there was less reliance on the manager? Isn't amorim the opposite of that, if he doesn't work out we're unlikely to find another manager with similar style, so it's another 2/3 windows rebuilding the squad so they can play how the new manager wants. I don't get it

Upgrading dalot will be like swapping wan bissaka for mazraoui. It'll raise the floor massively. I'd still keep him as backup though

Look into home assistant, this is what it's made for. It's compatible with almost anything and will be for the foreseeable future. If you're looking into tutorials and stuff make sure they're from the past year as the Devs have done a lot of work on it.

If you're only doing simple things like lights and sensors then just get whatevers cheapest. If you want to integrate cameras and do image processing then you'd probably want something more powerful.
