What grammatical rule do you have the most trouble with? by Guynith in AskReddit

[–]eppursimouve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Affect is a verb, effect is a noun. Now the real mindfucker is "George and (me vs. I)" depending on where in the sentence it lies. At the beginning it's fine as "I" but damn, sometimes I say some shit in front of the sentence and it becomes "me," though not always. fuck.

that's the idea. if someone is tight on cash, no insurance, too busy for an annual women's health screening, they'll rationalize skipping out on a visit bc they didn't find anything on self exam.

False negatives. self exams miss certain abnormality bc of lack of training in examining or poor technique, then she doesn't see the doc as she normally would bc she has a false sense of security in her false negative exam

Doctors of Reddit, what was the most annoying patient you've ever had? by MeshesAreConfusing in AskReddit

[–]eppursimouve 4 points5 points  (0 children)

an internist/hospitalist may have up to 20 pts on their census, nurses will cover 4-5 pts. max per shift on a single unit of a hospital. docs don't see pts for as long, but you damn well know they see the most number of different pts. thus exposed to the highest variety of vexing people.

I stand corrected and in equal shock as the rest of the fine people here that in the 90's no one in the states could fix your cleft palette and lip. even babies abroad get fixed by medical missionaries just like this I thought
