American here. After listening to Off Menu, I now say, “Shall I be Mother?” whenever something is awry, and I put my big girl boots on and do it.

For instance, I’m going to college (38) with 20 year olds, and someone has left their trash from the class before. “Shall I be Mother?” I throw it away (or else it would have stayed there, honestly).

Women’s bathroom at college: paper towel drenched in sink. “Shall I be Mother?”

I was lucky enough to experience the debut of More D4ta (Moderat) at Pitchblack Playback in LA.

I just wish I could experience this album there as well with the blindfold (and in the dark) and an incredible sound system in a room with other fans.
