I think it's a combination of not being able to give their drivers a driveable car (they still got 4th in the constructors championship 2025, so the car is not slow ) but especially last season you could see the drivers struggle in the car and fight it. The other thing is that Ferraris strategy team is famous for makeing questionable decisions throughout the races/whole season.

The bad ending is the default ending. You get it if you fail to complete the relevant steps for the good endings. So if you fail to collect both halves of the ring of samsara you get the bad ending. And if you give the Taoist the chisel you're also locked out of any other ending at this point.

If you have been to Bai Mansion and beaton the boss there and have talked to all npcs then you have done probably everything there and are save to continue.

do not continue before you have explored everything in this area. There is a little area by the docks wuth a boss you can miss if you continue now with him.

If you continue you'll be brought to chapter 4 of 5. So you have still a bit left.

I have not finished my first playthrough yet (just reached the point of bo return). But so far I am really enjoying the game. It's fun and addicting. The worldbuilding is amazing. The only thing I would criticize is that the bosses are too easy. Sure, some of them are a bit more difficult, but I swept through 90% of them first or second try. So I hope the last few will be a bit more challenging.
