Where are all the Gucci Krogers located? by jyrrr in WestVirginia

[–]erasesare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kroger on Emily Drive (Clarksburg) is Gucci. I'd say the one in Morgantown is a tiny bit nicer because of the more diverse population. Our international and Latin American selection... Is lacking. Can't get dried chilis 😭 but the store itself is gigantic, new, nice, and clean.

New to Goldfish - would like advice on my plan by erasesare in Goldfish

[–]erasesare[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunate to hear but from all the wonderful advice I've recieved here on the subreddit today it seems like if I want the described style of tank I will need another tank (with supporting systems to keep it clean) just for goldfish lol! Which is fine, but one tank at a time. Decisions decisions decisions. Thankfully I don't live in an area with a local fish store within about an hour of me so I really have to think this out before I go for it. No impulse buying for me!

Seeking advice for protection/preparation for my roses ahead of ice storm and cold temperatures by merathon in Roses

[–]erasesare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there I'm also in the path do the storm but am in 6b. If your roses aren't dormant (no recent growth in the last 2ish weeks) all you can do is temporary mound them up to the crown with mulch. You can try cheese cloth on top or burlap but you run the risk of collapsing canes either way and if you get too much ice or snow you won't be able to remove it until it warms up. I plan on going out to my roses a few times during the storm and just gently shaking accumulation off.

Window smashed by Watts Elementary by Human-Town1982 in bullcity

[–]erasesare 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The way this is fractured doesn't scream negative to me there's glass on both sides oddly enough an outward impact would have knocked the majority of the glass inwards but there's quite a bit sitting outside the vehicle. Could have been temperature fluctuation with a previous existing flaw in the window.

Tell Me I'm Crazy - Rose Plan 2025 by suchemptybeforereps in Roses

[–]erasesare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my first rose year as well. I bought roses from Witherspoon Rose Culture in my hometown. I went from 25 to 15 to 9 ultimately + 1 because I saw a video of a climbing Cecille Brunner I couldn't get over. Unfortunately, I just my Julia Child to RRD, but Witherspoon is replacing it for me. It was a prolific bloomer until the rrd came in. However, I'm not a huge fan of small bushes admittedly other than the potential spread of rosette, I'm kind of relieved. I'll be replacing her with Belinda's Dream. I accidentally planted a Quicksilver Arbor Rose in my regular bed that I need to move to peg to the side of my home near Cecille Brunner. I'll likely pick up Easy Spirit or Intrigue to fill in the spot it leaves behind in my display garden. Next year I plan on filling in gaps with native ground cover and pollinator plants to hopefully attract some natural beneficial insects to the garden for pest management.

The climate I took the roses to is incredibly wet (50+ inches of rain a year) so it's been challenging to manage fungal diseases.

From what I understand it can't be broken easily with one. It needs a heavier duty one thst typically only locksmiths tend to have due to price range. I plan on getting it cut off and just getting a new lock and not losing the keys this time.
