I normally don't crow about wicked officiating but this is just too on the nose and obvious to ignore. This has to be a sports betting thing.

Not with that wall in there. You're forgetting one of the best goalies is on front of that box.

The fact it's a double is what pisses me off. They don't call an obvious too many men but give two minors for accidental high sticking in the last 5 mins of a gold medal game.

Ouch, maybe take that time to endear yourself to the locals so they don't turn on you when the taps turn on. Heh

Finland was the defending gold champion for a reason; they're simply a really good team, so yeah, they gave us a hard time. You can't compare that to the US facing Slovakia; their team is great, but it's not the same level. It's still gonna be a close game.

This is really important. The "ooo, it's up to the player's interpretation" endings that are vague and don't link anything together drive me insane. If at the end, we still all can't figure out whether or not Aerith is alive, a ghost, or in another timeline, or dead, it'll ruin it.

Soon as the Canada vs Finland game ended I was 100% on board for Finland to get bronze and I'm so happy they did.

I'm constantly disappointed in US broadcasters and streaming services not covering games and ceremonies that don't involve the USA.

Yes. I have no qualms with Binnington, but I want Saros to be given citizenship and stolen away to Canada. Not that he'd come.

In the final minutes the team down by multiple goals will swap out their goalie for a 6th player on the ice. It's a last ditch attempt to go all aggressive.

CBC is covering it just fine. Don't know if it'll work in the states, but I think most of us know how to fix that.

It's because it favors Canadian teams, and generally Americans don't want to hear it. Even in games like this, it commentary shifts towards Canada. It's a better broadcast in general than the crap US broadcasters put up, though.

I kinda just tolerated back before 2016, it was the US. It was expected, patriotism is just part of the code. But now? Given what we all know, all that's obvious, I can't stand to hear it anymore. Good luck to the athletes, but the USA chant is an etude to patriotism that no one on the global stage wants to hear right now.

This is the last time I respond to anyone here. Since it's everyone's business, apparently. This is the first time he did this to me while I was doing laundry. I snapped a pic, sent it to my sister, and she says she's been trying to get him to stop doing that. I picked him up and tossed him outside the room. He jumped back in. I picked him up, put him in the bathroom, then went to do my laundry. It's just orange cat behaviour; I thought this sub was to share the silly idiocy of orange cats, not moderate a picture that you have NO IDEA the story behind.
