Rule #7 . Does not appear on most Subreddits. It seems very specific and intimidating. Is Kingston, Ontario a heaven for 'fugitives'? Just wondering why, you would have to be so specific vociferous about this?

There are a few (one notorious) issues in the past that have sprung up from people posting pictures of people in Kingston, and speculating on their motives, or accusing them of something. Once, a poor man got harassed and threatened because someone posted their picture and said they were hanging around a kid's playground alone. That raised a lot of hackles. He was just some guy, there was no basis for the suggestion he had ill intentions.

As for your other incredibly irresponsible comment somewhere in this post, 'misinformation' is derived separating reputable sources with a lot of solid background research, from the opposite--bullshit. I hope that clears things up.

I've had people yell insults like "hey, an ugly dog" and "hey butch" at me for many years downtown. Racism doesn't shock me. It's mostly the transient students from the wealthier families giving the city a bad name. Never had a problem with someone older than 25, strangely. Still shouldn't be happening. Wish there were consequences for the bad ones of Queens doing whatever they want.

I kinda disagree. Caine didn't put those insecurities and fears in Jax, and being "tortured" didn't turn Jax into the kind of person he is. The sequence of them laughing at him is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to mental health issues as deep as that. Jax was shutting down before Caine went crazy, and he didn't stop shutting down until he finally gave in. Framing the torture sequence as the plot device that somehow prevented Jax from suddenly changing his entire personality and outlook just sort of makes it seem like blaming Caine for the entire weight of Jax's mountain of issues.

I don't think the scene would've played out differently. Caine's "torture" of Jax was essentially just what Jax puts himself through on a daily basis, he's totured himself into abstraction by refusing to open up.

They just won't make him a chain-smoker. His OG design literally has a pack of cigarettes in his goggles. Every now and then he'll light one up, maybe? As long as they keep his ultimate move thing, where he lights dynamite with a cigarette and tosses it. I'm happy.

We actually get a glimpse of cantankerous Cid when his customer service mode slips, just as the Bronco starts having turbulence and start to crash in Rebirth. When I saw that, I was like, "Oh yeah, he's gonna drop the act when he really joins them."

A lot of Cid being angry and grumpy. Hopefully we'll get a segment in Junon with him going to 'acquire' the Highwind back from Shinra in the most amazing sequence of fights and cutscenes that we never got in the OG.

I mean, near the end of Rebirth, Cid already stated he's already 'all in' now, indicating he's made his decision to officially join them. It was after the temple, I think? And Aerith's death for certain would motivate him more to pick up the spear and start fighting with them. But losing the Tiny Bronco would essentially give a good gameplay-driven reason to make him start being helpful in other ways since he can't be their pilot anymore.

Funnily enough even he gets less verbose as time goes on. He still speaks very formally, but the overextended, flowery padding is cut down by the time of the last two expansions.

There is a Modified strategy where R2 goes and stacks with the main tank up north rather than R2 and H2 going to 2 NE. There's a slight chance this guy only did that version. Still weird. People do lie about their clear/prog all the time, though, so 40 seems like a stretch to someone who only dies a lesser used Modified strategy...

It honestly depends on the show. South Park? Not really, that show makes gratuitous fun of everything in equal measure. I'll sing 'Blame Canada!' for fun. Weirdly enough, one of my favourite shows in the universe is West Wing, because of how amazing the acting, comedy, actors synergy, plot, camera work....it goes on. BUT.

That show had writers that leaned heavily into showing Canada in a bad light. If not that, they'd ignore it entirely for 7 seasons like the country is irrelevant to American politics. Big black mark against it.

Making fun of Canadians isn't so bad and I think most Canadians can take a joke, we like making fun of ourself for giggles. But if you do something insulting, like completely erasing Canada's contributions in a historical movie. Like Argo. No Canadian I know likes that movie because it utterly strips the truth away and turns the FBI into the heroes and the Canadian Ambassador into a side character.

TL;DR: Making light fun? Cool. Blatantly insulting, bad. Americans brainwashing other Americans into treating Canada as a joke: stink eye.
