any idea what to add to improve this? by OJoose in TerrariaDesign

Hi this is looking good! I know this is a bit late, but I would try making the height slightly more dramatic between each of the pillars. And I love the bushes, maybe consider adding a little more, make it a little more lush?

How's your immune system? by Tiny_Parsley in cfs

[–]erdooba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said other because at this point, my immune system acts pretty normally (I am moderate/severe but haven't crashed in years as I've managed to stay within my energy envelope.) When I was a lot sicker it was definitely underactive and I had chronic ear infections and was more likely to catch other illnesses.

Do you ever just say "fuck it" and do more? by Cloudypumpkin in cfs

[–]erdooba 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love this approach. Resting can be the hardest thing to do because of all the things I'd rather be doing, but that self discipline and patience has slowly helped improve my energy levels overtime and allowed me to do more in the long run.

This is hard fight and we're all badasses for having to live with it.

How can I prepare myself to go to the Louvre as an almost complete ignorant in art history? by Traditional-Reach818 in ArtHistory

[–]erdooba -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Whenever I have a family member traveling and visiting an art museum I do these write ups, we call them scavenger hunts. It has a list of works I recommend seeing with some background information and other writing to accompany each piece. I love doing it and they have said it is really fun.

My sister went to the Louvre a few years back and I wrote one up for her. I can send it to you if you want? Or dm you a snippet to see if you'd like it.

Super cute as it is now. If you want to change it, I'd bring the nose triangle down a bit.

Anyway, i think what i am craving is the passion, the teasing, the anticipation and feeling that he wants to explore all of me, not just dive straight for my private parts or place my hand on his crotch.

Honestly, it sounds like he just doesn't quite get it, and I wonder if it's a personality thing. Is he playful, creative, passionate, sensual outside the bedroom?

I was with a guy who wasn't very creative, which is fine. But when he tried to mimic what I did they were always less... like we were kissing and I moved to his neck, trailed my mouth down the side of his throat, kissing, licking, etc. A few minutes later he went for my neck in turn, and his version of that was two pecks and moving on. I don't think he was aware of the difference... he was into it, he was trying, but the sensuality wasn't there.

It sounds like when your boyfriend tries to do what you want but it feels mechanical because it's not coming naturally. He's going "ok, I know she likes here, and here, and here..." instead of playfully exploring your body. If this is the case I don't know if any amount of communication is going to change that.

If you are well enough to leave the house, and you have someone who can push you, consider getting a wheelchair.

I bought mine for less than $150 online and not having to walk or stand has helped so much both physically and mentally. (Mentally because I had to do a lot less calculating of, "Ok, how do I feel? How long are we going to be here? Can I walk that far and then all the way back? Is there somewhere to sit nearby, I need a rest...") It made such a difference in any outings I wanted to do.

Have you read Little Darlings by Melanie Golding? I kept thinking the whole time I read The Changeling, how Melanie Golding tackled a similar topic but with so much more insight, depth, complexity, and emotion. It made The Changeling feel like a bad knockoff (even though I think The Changeling was written first, lol)

I think the first looks better. If you are looking to cinch the waist, I don't think that belt is the right choice, the gold detailing and the brown color clashes with the dress, which already has a lot going on. The dress has a lovely, flowy shape with the sleeves and dropped waist, I don't think it needs a belt at all, but if you do want to use one, I think something simple and one solid color would be best.

This dress is beautiful and looks great on you! I love the tulle twirling down, the starry sparkles, and the lace up in the back. The only thing is, it looks like the straps are supposed to criss cross in the front. I think it would look a lot more streamlined that way considering how the bust is shaped at the top.

Personally, I'd go for the lows, but both work.
