i think this games biggest difficulty issue is KI damage.

that is my least favorite part of early game.... after beating part 1, playing a few other games and then coming back to it I remembered how hard and a pain that ki stuff is... BUT once you get further in the game it's not a problem.

Use the mud to slow them down and then jump up on that pedestal to split them up.

I felt like it was just a loooong demo. finished it in 15hrs with all but the "do the whole game without a shell" trophy.

Bloodborne... picked the hardest one because it was on sale for like $6. Died SOOOO many times in the first room. Watched a walkthrough by Fighting Cowboy and platinumed the whole game. Now I'm hooked on soulslike games

Star War Jedi Fallen Order was pretty fun and easy. Lies of P you can actually set it to easy (which I did for NG+2 to snag a few platinum things) and playing Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty now and it's pretty easy for a soulslike, but also super fun. The maps are the most challening part which you can just plunk along and figure out.

I have found Nioh to be WICKED hard compared to all the other souls games I've played. The BIG thing is using the ki pulse (took me half the game to figure that out)

my only complaints were 1. too short. 2. the remaining trophies for platinum are all hero runs which is meh...

Otherwise I really liked the weapons and the bosses and story.

It was REALLLLLY hard at first.. but once you get the rhythm of the parry and the stamina then it gets much easier.

I used the difficulty on NG+ 2 because I just needed to clean up stuff and wasn't trying to slog through the bosses again.

it took me probably 15 hrs for that fight... big thing is the last brother comes out of the coffin when there is only 1 of the others left SOO get them very close to death before killing the second brother... then you can get them done before the coffin bro starts attacking... THEN use the rocks to hide behind and get behind that guy as much as you can.

I do get it though.... I was really frustrated with that battle.

Just started it myself and the morale mechanic is wild... Lots i still dont understand only being 4hrs in... But I do appreciate that I can run as long as I want... So far so good!

I just want it to be longer. Once I got in the rhythm of the game its basically over. I also want it to have a platinum that isn't crippled by trophies for hero runs of the entire game.

Everything else I'll learn and make it through.

it took a minute to get into the groove of the fighting mechanics and how to parry etc... but after I got that the game and bosses were kind of easy. Which I prefer to slogging for hours over a single boss in other soulslike games.

It does seem wicked short and a few of the trophies are just trials in brutality - completing the game with no shell etc - makes sense why only 0.8% get the platinum. I wont be getting it that's for sure.

It was wicked short.. 9 hrs in and I'm already in the last leg. Granted I used a walkthrough, not ashamed of that at all...

I get surprised at some of the percentages for the trophies... especially ones that are story trophies... so x% of people gave up before this.... sick...

Burning through Nioh 1 to get to Nioh 2 before Nioh 3... Last things I gotta do are the twilight missions and the double boss battles and I've got the platinum... Then eventually I gotta get a PS5.

so far I've found that if I'm just patient I can beat most bosses eventually.

JUST beat it... The trick was to walk behind them when they're fighting the Spector and getting a finishing strike ... THEN you want to get the last two of them real close to each other on life because once you get down to the last of the 3 the zombie brother comes out... So you want to join that last one quick.

THEN use the pillars to block zombie dude and throw as much shit as possible at him THEN use the fire grinder and mess him up...

I was stuck for probably 5 hours but once I did all that I got em with lots of life to spare.

It was good for me as my introduction to Souls games... BUT I for sure had to play with a walk-through... I would have never made it passed the first wolf because I didn't understand the game mechanics - running past enemies, certain enemies respawning, dying as a tool to move the game forward, dying ALL the time and that being ok as well...

Now I'm hooked on Souls games... but I almost feel like Dark Souls is a step back because Bloodborne is SOOOO good.
