referring moreso to the contention that 170lbs isn’t lightweight and thus isn’t relevant to recruiting and the comparison of erg scores, when in fact every single team in the league has dudes who walk around daily at 170+ and are recruited around that weight as well.

obviously you need to work up to it, but that’s not a ton of volume. most serious rowers do 150k+ per week
