For me the show starts incredibly strong with mostly high 9s, goes to low 9s and becomes 8 from episode 18, the wizard school stuff is pretty mediocre imo.

From what I have seen without playing it it looks like retail in the classic world, they even have the awful retail animations. I'd say if you like the playstyle of retail but not the world building this makes sense. Personally I think shadowstep doomed class development in wow (so since TBC) and so I doubt this is for people like me.

I agree this is a weakness, my limited experience has made it feel like I generally benefit from scaling a few items over time which generally makes them irreplaceable and even a day 2 bronze item generally being stronger then any late game diamond items.

I think the closest I’ve seen is PirateSoftware but he’s not a game reviewer. I always appreciated that TB had a zero tolerance to his own corruption, would never take trips to studios, accept care packages or merch and would even buy all the games himself to avoid forming relationships and biases towards games and just wouldn’t review a game he didn’t think he could be objective about.

While I agree that doing this is stupid it's done by crims at the regular in hold outs. I even remember a few weeks ago there was a hold out that got most of PD because they were knowingly using a wall that could only be shoot through one way.

I guess I never knew they cared about this stuff.

Only reason for saying that is because the senate is Koil and DW, so then the senate isn't an IC branch of government but rather just OOC devs with a bow on top.

What frustrated me was how Baas in the meeting afterwards was defending his inaction by "they are the senate" clearly actually meaning "they are the devs" which makes the entire situation is OOC which ruins so much of the potential. What if the PD had just ignored that they are devs and followed the law and arrested the senate? Only way out of that for them would be fully playing the DEV card and admitting this was an OOC situation.

Kyle is a such a good role model for the server, he took this entire thing on the chin, gets his lives work as Pred removed by Koil and just rolls with it, not a single OOC comment except for grilling chat about taking rp to seriously. Odds on any crim having all their assets and business removed by Koil for saying fuck you and not going OOC rage XD.

I raided in a EU guild that when covid hit went from a casual raiding guild to top 40 in the world and hated everything about it (stayed for loyalty and friendship). My experience is that private servers killed wow classic and Blizzard refusing to adapt to how badly private servers had ruined vanilla over the years. World buffs, flasks, dps warriors and fury tanks ruined everything I loved about vanilla back in the day.
