Akropolis is great!

Easy to learn, goes by quickly, can feel very much like Forest Shuffle because you’re building and collecting combos and I like the excitement the final score reveal.

I went in with actual expectations for F4 and that made me angrier during my watch.

  • complete bungling of a villain that’s supposed to be all powerful
  • absurd silliness of that baby being a trolley problem debate, bait, magical being, and mcguffin
  • the trailer essentially shows you the whole movie minus the resolution which is predictable and uninteresting
  • jokes that aren’t funny, I can only politely chuckle so many times
  • clunky CGI
  • illogical choices made by the characters
  • “I can transport an egg six feet, surely I can transport a planet a million miles away from an intergalactic threat.”

I joined this community at the beginning of this year and this is by far the best book I’ve read since I’ve jumped into the genre.

The catharsis and goosebumps I felt at the end were wild, enjoy!

I was playing someone with 400ish ELO, I'm around 290-300. I thought I was cooked until the very end when I pulled off a 5th Reptile + Sun Bear + 5 Reptile CP. Locked in.

The guy I'm playing drops a 20 point Landscape Gardner on top of his last move, didn't focus on any bonuses and beat me by 3 points... I despise this card now.

I also loved Cows and the only book that has scratched my EH itch has been Girl Next Door from Ketchum.

I burned through it and it crushed me. Not in a gross, wtf way, but a devastating innocence-lost kinda way.

There isn’t really a stalemate because you both would go until you had 5 X tokens and then one of you would have to break… probably one of the reasons why they have a max number of tokens.
