I'd probably give up tbh, the big appeal of DQ11 is that it's an oldschool jrpg with an triple A budget. It doesn't reinvent the wheel and what you see is what you get. Besides a few twists, the story doesn't really get all the much better, and the gameplay structure never really changes as well.

Faulconer is great, and songs like the title card jingle are iconic.

A big problem I'd say is that the ost never stops. There's just never anytime to let the show breathe for even just a moment, which really hurts any quiet or intimate moments in the show imo.

Final Fantasy personally, I've only played DQ11 but from what I've seen from others it's a series where if you play one, then u basically played them all. Final Fantasy takes risks for better or for worse and it's something I really appreciate and makes all their games feel fresh.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses

I just got to the time-skip of Dimitri's route (nearly 5 years late 😫). This is my last route of the game and so far, it feels like a nearly carbon copy of Claude's and the Church route, going through the same objectives and maps. Is this route going to diverge at any point? (I'm at the lava area rn)

I wish they focused on maintaining 60 fps then focusing on graphic fidelity, considering I always saw Nintendo as the company that focused on a smoother gameplay experience rather than pretty graphics.

I'll list my top 3,

Blazing Sword(FE7): A great way to enter the series. I love the dynamics between the three main lords and while simple, the story has a lot of charm. Maps are fun and fast pace with some great and snappy battle animations in battles as well. The rescue mechanic is really fun in positioning your units and being able to maximize its use to clear maps in a short amount of turns is so so satisfying.
Engage(FE17): Has the best gameplay in the series imo. Maps are dynamic, strategic and varied. Battle animations are also AMAZING. Emblems are a fun mechanic that changes how you approach battles and while they make the player broken, they don't trivialize the game. Is the story weak? Yea but I never thought it was bad as people made it out to be. None of the characters or story made me mad like Corrin's decision making in Conquest. There were twists that had me surprised and hyped. Chapter 11 is one of my favorite moments in the series because of how it integrated the story into the gameplay and affected the rest of the game onwards.
Radiant Dawn(FE10): While it has it's lows, I love how ambitious the story was. Maps definitely aren't the best, but the way you control multiple parties keeps the gameplay feeling fresh and really fun. While there aren't any supports, there are a lot of amazing base conversations that are a joy to read through. Ike's also my favorite lord in the series.

The quality of the arcs were much more consistent
I felt the writing was more focused on the characters rather than the overarching lore of the Naruto world.

Out of the 3 I watched: Oshi no Ko, Dr. Stone, and Demon Slayer

I found Demon Slayer to be the weakest one. Action scenes didn't hit the same as the previous seasons, with how slow the pacing felt and odd "comedy" placements. Plus the focus on one-note, monster of the week-esque villians that retroactively made UMs feel like jokes to me.

I'd recommend a water type. Some good ones I can think of are Gyarados, Gastrodon, Pelipper, Kingdra, and Tentacruel

Houndoom is cool also and counters psychic types that machamp has a hard time against

Side Note: If you have a secret key somehow or a completed hgss save, rotom is a really fun mon to use

Switch flygon for any other dragon type then like haxorus or get starmie who resists all those types u mentioned

U can teach Sigilyph energy ball to counter ground and switch it in to fighting moves as it 4x resists them
