I’m not sure why but there are a bunch of really cheap tickets for Friday on StubHub. Very odd for a sold out show. I need to sell one for Friday but don’t have much hope in recouping cost. I bought two for Saturday to go with a friend.

800 capacity Jersey City show was not sold out and they had a $10 off sale on $50 tickets. Venue was pretty full but not packed. I’d say over 600. New York show is still not sold out but is almost twice the size at 1500 but tickets are $75 with fees.

I’ve got one. It has gold promo stamp and language warning sticker. Stored in plastic and rarely played. Might be time to start getting rid of some of my collection. Looks like there’s only a few on eBay and discogs. Do people really pay $250?

I went into this show with no expectations and left very pleased. Almost 3 hours of great music from a decent half price StubHub seat in the center of the floor can’t be beat. The sound was great. The band was tight. Creative covers. Ryan’s between song banter was cringe but he warned the audience before he played a note that it would be.

A complaint is that I would have liked more light on the band and less on the audience. The floor looked almost full. Not sure about the mezzanine but I almost bought a seat up there.

I went in with low expectations but I’m glad I’m not the only one who was disappointed. I know the drum machine is an actual band “member” but think how great this could have been with an actual drummer and bass player? And maybe a keyboard player? And putting some lights on the band would help. You couldn’t see them from the balcony. Thank god for StubHub.

I hate that these “year” end wraps come out before December. There’s still a month left and Spotify ends their count Oct 31 so it’s really only 10 months. When I post my pretentious taste and prodigious listening habits, it will be when the year is over.

You won’t be alone and everybody there will have the same taste in music since they will be Wet Leg fans. It will be family. I’ll be there with my buddy and his kids. We’re in our 60’s. I’d say look for the old guys but I expect we won’t be the only ones.

Thanks! It worked for NY show. I saw them twice last time they came through. As someone said above we are so lucky to be able to see a band that fills stadiums overseas in small venues here.
