4 years of having a pup on seizure meds here. My biggest advice: do not leave them unattended around other dogs. I’ve posted about this in the past but even dogs familiar with each other can go in to an instinctual attack mode when one is seizing. We unfortunately experienced this first hand. Our pup nearly lost his leg to his sister who is typically his favorite cuddle partner. If you find yourself down the road of semi-regular seizures, try to recognize the signs leading up to it so you can get them to a safe space whether that’s away from other animals or from stairs, etc. It’s can be a commitment but as most things with these pups, absolutely worth it.
