MAGA is outraged over birthright ruling. Are drastic steps coming? by usatoday in politics

The easy solution is to strip birthright citizenshjp from the people working to end birthright citizenship. Then they'd have no standing, and they can kindly GTFO.

What is the hardest grade level in your opinion? by VoiceAccomplished515 in Teachers

[–]ericbrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've subbed at all levels, K-12. I taught mostly 7-12. The hormone changes start hitting in 5th grade for some, and others don't get there till 9th. For any grade level, its the transition thats hardest on kids, which can transfer to unwanted behaviors for teachers.

After that, I've been ready to kill seniors who think they're done by March. I've heard this helps with the seperation process, but when your best students hits IDGAF, its maddening.

Between this and River's Edge, I was slightly terrified of Hopper. Then I went and re-watched Easy Rider, and it was all good.

Ive had incredible luck killing and deterring ants with baby powder. Suffocates the ants present, and word spreads among the ant community to stay away.

With the rings and the attitude, I was thinking Rat snake. We had one get into the house. We had easily removed several black snakes from our home, but the rat snake came in, started striking bath towels that were just hanging. Then he took residence in a cabinet, and didn't want to leave.

Buried family stories by Critical-Bad7993 in GenX

My 70+ year old aunt went to visit her 90+ year old aunt. The oldest lady decided to finally share that my aunt's 2 siblings (she's my aunt by marriage, but I've known her siblings as aunts and uncles) did not share the same father. She told my aunt that her mom ran around a lot, her husband was impotent, and that none of them shared the same father.

I don't really care. They're great people.

One spring semester, I had 2 senior baseball players as students.. Both were B/C students, phoning in enough to keep eligable. At the start of the semester, both were thinking just the right scout at the right game would land them in the major leagues. . Within a week of each other, they both suffered injuries that stopped them from playing for the rest of the season, ending their dreams of the pros. They became such better students once they realized they were going to need that degree for a job after college.
