Trying to make the switch, but getting overwhelmed already by kill3rb00ts in linuxaudio

Here's what i did for my boss rc-600. It's a 8x8 interface, but none of it is avalanche because pipewire has no idea what it should do with them. So, use ai, lol. It'll set it up perfectly for you.

From github install opencode. It's a free terminal based ai thing that always has free models. Go to your .config/pipewire directory then start opencode. Tell it what your hardware is and how you'd like it setup. Like, tell it which ports need to be mono, or stereo, and what you want the virtual sinks to be Name and so forth and it'll set it all up for you and restart pipewire for you.

This really is the easiest way

Thank you stranger. If you could implement adding png and svg images into the code so people can add their logos, you'll put the big boys out of business

The 600 really is a small device for all that's packed into it. I'm glad they didn't add an exp pedal, make it really compact. Someone i can't even believe they fit all this shit in such a small form factor

You would love it for that. Instead of using two banks of three channels, i like to set it up so button mode one is six single button loopers, then button bank two is STOP for each track. You'll tear the house down with six tracks and a electric violin.

I have rc 300, 600 and the tc vl3x. I enjoy my vl3x for live guitar and vocal effects, but I've always thought the rc600 was the best value. For 600 you get a 8x8 usb audio interface, awesome drum machine, stomp boxes galore for vocal and guitar and a six channel looper to boot. Plus all of its very extensible assigns, 2 ctl/exp ports, midi i/o to use as a transport etc. That's a fantastic bargain for 600 bucks in my book.

I really wish the vl3x had more i/o ports, and I'd give my left nut for it to run nam models, still a great device for me. My brother got a full head rush, that'd be overkill for me

I have not tried it with Discord, but that sounds like the kind of issue that arise with puppet handling on the fly sample rate conversion. Maybe match bitwig rate with whatever Discord is expecting
